The apartment was beautiful and exactly as pictured. Clean, comfortable and really perfect for the 5 of us. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner and there were plenty of knives, utensils, etc. We did purchase aluminum roasting pans for cooking because there weren’t a lot of baking pans but no big deal. The only reason I’m giving this property 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of staples (salt, pepper, sugar, aluminum foil, flour, etc) AND when I asked for face cloths after check in, I never heard back. Again, we got along without them, but don’t ask me if I need anything if you’re not going to respond. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. The location was great and it was really nice to have a parking spot. I would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay. Mile End is a terrific neighborhood. Mostly residential, but with enough restaurants, clubs, and shopping to keep it interesting. Never too noisy in our 3rd floor flat, especially with the windows closed. There's a bus stop on the block. Nearest metro stations are about a 20 minute walk. The unit was comfortable with enough seating around a dining table, large kitchen island, and small living room to make it easy for hanging out. Note that the front bedroom is a bit small, though the two from our party who stayed there had no trouble with it. There are two ductless AC units - one in the master BR, and the other in the main living space. If the doors to the two guest bedrooms are closed at night, it does get stuffy in there. We had good communication with our host, though response time was about 10-12 hours. If there were something urgent, our hope would've been for a quicker response. We would have liked having the kitchen stocked with some basic necessities - aluminum foil, napkins, and cooking staples (cooking oil, salt, pepper). We had planned to do some cooking, but the lack of these necessities led us to change plans. There was only half a roll of paper towels and a few spare rolls of toilet paper when we arrived. We asked for additional supplies, dish soap, dishwasher and laundry detergent, and these were delivered the next day. The bathrooms did not have any tissue (Kleenex) or wash/face cloths. These should have been provided without asking. We had a wonderful time, and the apartment and neighborhood were big parts of the fun we had. The 4-star rating is because of these few missing items. Had they been there, this would have easily been a 5-star review.

The property overall is very well maintained and beautifully renovated. The surrounding blocks have convenient stores and some good food. Recommend Tapas Flores and Rumi. We had a car and parked in the back. It would have been helpful, since we had a bunch of luggage, to realize that you have to walk up a winding staircase in the back to get to the apartment. We ended up driving to the front of the building and bringing our bags up inside, which was a bit of a hassle. The apartment is quite a few flights up. Fine for us, but could be an issue for some. There are two a/c units. One in the back master bedroom and one in the living room. You need to keep the doors open to cool the other bedrooms a bit. A light, bright apartment with nice finishes. Overall, a very good stay!

This property is located in the trendy Mile End neighborhood with lots of very nice restaurants and cute shops. That is also super close to Royal Park for excellent hiking. Two things to make note of; yes it is on the top floor so you have to take a lot of stairs to get to the fourth floor of this building and if you are in favor of public transportation, as we are, it is a mile to the metro. If you are used to physical activity then this will be no problem The great thing about this property is the joy of being on the top floor you do not have the pounding of footsteps of neighbors above you. Additionally it is impossible to find a place in Montreal with this many bedrooms and bathrooms with space and air-conditioning. I highly recommend this property and the owner was very accommodating and easy to deal with.

The place was very clean, we were only missing a couple of items to be comfortable like shower gel and extra garbage bags, but our host was very responsive and we’re walking distance to grocery and pharmacy. The location is one of the best to explore Montreal culture and the stairs helped burn off all the croissants and bagels we were eating! We did rent a vehicle and could park in a designated spot but you can’t unlock the back door near the spot: you have to have someone open it for you from inside (we were on the top floor) or walk around the block to the front. Not an issue with a bit of coordination on our part. Although it’s off a busy street it wasn’t loud, we didn’t hear our neighbours, and the ventilation, AC, and light were great. Would gladly book again for our family.
