Great time was had by all..we hope to return.

The Riverside Cottage was a great place for an excellent getaway! Morning coffee on the deck overlooking the peaceful river to outdoor grilling and dining was all experienced by our group of friends for our annual Labor Day weekend get-together. We enjoyed staying at this spacious, well-appointed property!

Property is very well maintained and had everything we needed. The Rock River location is very peaceful. There’s plenty of room to spread out and the ping pong table and sand kept the kids occupied so my wife and I could enjoy sitting by the river.

The place was awesome. The outside of the property was fantastic & right on the river. The inside was very nice too. Highly recommend.

The home was as described. It was neat, clean and spacious. Perfect for our group which was Grandparents and grandchildren. The children loved the river where they spent hours tubing and fishing on the Fox River. The river was super convenient with a boat dock right outside the back door. Chris was great, super responsive even though we had nearly everything we needed right at our finger trips. Great place to stay with kids who want to enjoy the recreations of the Rock River.

What a beautiful home in such a tranquil setting! Chris, a fabulous host, graciously shares his immaculate, well maintained riverfront house. We planned a family stay-cation to celebrate my brother’s 50th birthday and wanted to stay somewhere that made it feel special. We hit the jackpot with this house - we felt transported to a peaceful getaway, and not like we were home in the QC! Could not recommend more highly.

This is a beautiful high end home right on the river. It was great having 3 bathrooms as we went home for a wedding and myself and my two daughters all had our own bathroom to get ready. Responsive owner to any questions. Beautiful deck where we enjoyed brunch and mimosas watching the bird’s over the river. One thing to keep in mind, damage deposit is charged at time of booking. Originally we had reserved for 6 guests but due to unexpected circumstances my daughter’s spouses were not able to make it. No refund for the extra guest charge. 😢. All in all we really enjoyed our weekend and highly recommend this beautiful river home.

This place is really clean and well taken care of. Large open living room, kitchen, diningroom makes it great to hang out together. It is well set up for 4-10 people easily. The deck is awesome and has 17 chairs with nice, comfortable patio furniture. Fire pit area is right on the river. This is right next to a boat ramp too. Really a great place !!f I would recommend it to anyone.

Property was amazing and had everything we needed for a quick weekend get away. We had great weather and were able to enjoy a couple of fires during the day and the peacefulness of the river. The house is close to restaurants/grocery stores. The owner is super responsive if you happen to need anything during your stay.

We had a nice stay with our family. It was zero degrees outside during our stay, but the fireplaces and warm floors made the home feel cozy.

The house was beautiful. If anything, it was better than it appeared in the listing. We had a very comfortable stay. The house is close to everything but still feels secluded and private. The owners go above and beyond to make sure that you have everything you need. We are even planning a return trip in the summer.

This was a very pretty property right on the river! The hosts were awesome! We enjoyed this property with two other couples and it was the perfect size! The house was very clean and we will definitely be back!

This was one of our best experiences at a rental. The property was clean, comfortable and in a stunning local location. We would come back in a second!

We really enjoyed the property and were very happy with space and all the rooms. Are only complaint was the cable service. We stayed in to watch football and the World Series and the cable would go in and out during all of the games we watched.

We had such an amazing time at the River Cottage! And this is no cottage! It is a beautiful huge home that we can not wait to return to! We can not say enough about what a great stay we had and the beauty of the decor and location! Thanks Chris for such a wonderful stay!! We will be back!!

Property was on the river and has a private ramp which was great to unload our waverunners. The house was very clean and wonderful deck in back and side of house. In the evening, we had a bonfire and just relaxed. Would definitely rent again!
