Could not have found a better place! The property owners went out of their way to make the cabin available on short notice, kids had a blast and keep asking to skip school for a few more days. We went for the skiing at hunter, conditions were terrible but we didn’t Care at all, the cabin more than made up for it! We’ll be back…

Terrific property. Gorgeous views and amenities. Our family had a great time, hiking, boating and fishing, even doing some icebath’s in the stream. House was clean, warm, and cozy. Kitchen was fairly stocked and had everything we needed. The owner was very responsive with our questions. Will definitely rebook.

Highly recommened staying at this cabin! The cabin is beautiful amd has everything you need for a perfect week including a clean and refreshing pond, beautiful trails that lead right back to the cabin and an amazing stream in the woods next to the house with hammocks to enjoy the peaceful woods. The hot tub was amazing and was serviced to ensure cleanliness and safety. The host was also highly responsive throughout the week to help us with all of our questions. My family and I had an amazing week and will definitely stay again :)

Nick and Pat's home was a perfect fit for our family get-together in the Catskills. It's a true log cabin with three floors of living space -- plenty of room for us (parents, four adult kids in their 20s, and a soon-to-be daughter-in-law) to enjoy games, meals, and conversation without ever feeling cramped, plus three full bathrooms. And outdoors was even better! The huge property is gorgeous and full of nature's surprises. We swam in the pond, explored meadows and woods, basked in miniature waterfalls, and saw herons, hawks, rabbits, deer, and even a bear. While the home feels hidden, groceries and other supplies are just a 10-minute (incredibly scenic) drive away. We loved every minute and hope to return.

Our family, including sisters and adult children spent a week at this beautiful cabin very comfortably. There were 8 adults in all and it was wonderful to have such a huge dining table to sit around for meals and a large great room to hang out in. This is a lovely house with wonderful decor that added to our experience. The entire grounds of the property were gorgeous. We enjoyed just sitting on the porch drinking our morning coffee, fishing and boating on the pond, hiking around the grounds and relaxing in the hot tub or around the campfire. We have stayed at other rental homes and this one by far had the best equipped kitchen. Windham itself is a cute little town with numerous restaurants and there were many activities in the area to enjoy including the North South State Park and the scenic sky lift at Hunter Mountain.

Our group (three families with small kids) had a great week long stay at the cabin. The house is beautiful and spacious with plenty of rooms and gathering places inside and out to relax and hang out. The property is beautifully maintained and we spent the majority of our stay enjoying the weather and views from the huge wrap around porch. The highlight of our trip was spending time at the river which the kids loved. With the hot weather, the river was clean, refreshing, easy to access, and shallow enough for the kids to wade in and explore. We would book this house again!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The kids were busy all week at the pond, swimming, fishing, sitting at the camp fire and walking down the stream. And of course the hot tub. As for the adults with the kids busy all day we enjoyed our time on the deck and grilling. Would recommend the cabin for a relaxing vacation

This was an awesome place to have our family get together! We used the entire property for hikes, bikes, games on the lawn, talks on the porch and relaxing in the hot tub! One toilet wasn't working properly when we got there and someone was out quickly to fix it! The only suggestion I would have is to have a few more paper towel, towels and pillows! Thanks for allowing us to use the property! We made great memories regardless!

Came up in the spring for a quick getaway with friends and the cabin is frankly better than the pictures suggest. Wonderful views, good rooms with comfortable beds and the trails are great and well marked.
Nick and Pat were super responsive and have set the house up to make it very easy for guests to have a great experience.

Perfect property! The house exceeded our expectations and looked even better than the pictures. Our group of 10 traveled here for a ski trip and it was perfect. Any issue we had the owner responded back within minutes and we had everything we possibly needed there. Already planning our trip back!

We had another great stay at the cabin in Windham. We have stayed several times at Nick and Pat’s cabin and have loved every trip. This time was no exception. We love the peace and solitude the property offers and the chance to reconnect as a family. Each time we have visited we find new touches that show the investment the owners continue to make in the property and enhancing the stay for their guests. We love the area as well with the small town of Windham offering nice amenities that improve the experience. We love everything about this location and we had another great stay at our favorite place. Thanks again Nick and Pat.

Thanks Nick and Pat. This is our second time staying at your property. We love how comfortable the house is and the amazing grounds, fire pit and creek. We did a huge hike around the property and then relaxed in the hot tub. It was a great get away with the friends. We’ll be back!

Some great things about this property: friendly and responsive owners, the wonderful porch, the fantastic view of scenery and pond, the burbling brook, the hot tub, the Great Room: airy and light. Not so great: the bedrooms, especially the guest bedrooms. Although the house had been vacuumed and the sheets were clean, the bedrooms were dilapidated and dingy, with dust on surfaces and many cobwebs, including on lampshades. There are two bedrooms in the basement, which is a little musty. This would be a great place to come with kids, who would not care about the ancient bedcovers and furniture, but not so much for adults, who may find the bedrooms off-putting, as we did.

My husband and I took our sons., ages 22 to 32, to this picturesque cabin in the Catskills and it exceeded all our expectations. There was something for everyone right on the property. Whether it was hiking on the trails out back, building a campfire, ending a long run with a jump in the pond or vegging out on one of the strategically place hammocks in the shade we we all found something special about this place. The owners were very responsive and we thanks them for making this family vacation a beautiful bonding experience for us and the boys!

Beautiful log home in the mountains . Great place for the family, the kids never stopped fishing and swimming in the large pond. Great hiking trails along the Brook. We loved it.

Wonderful peace, privacy, and fun. Our family group ranged in age from 9 to 75 and we all had a terrific time at this happy home. We were in the pond every day and the hot tub, too.
There are outdoor chairs everywhere, a vast deck, and fire pits.
Only one complaint- the gas barbecue is kind of small for the number of people the home can accommodate.
One caution - the long dirt road to the house would be a problem for cars with low ground clearance. We had SUVs, so no problem.

I loved staying at Windham Cabin with my family. The property is so beautiful and you can just stay at the house and have fun hiking or going to the stream or in the hot tub. There are hiking spots nearby also and the town of Windham has places to eat and stores if you need supplies. This is my second time at the cabin and I loved it just as much.

Perfect getaway
The property was everything I hoped it would be. I woke up early on the first morning, had my coffee on the front porch while the rain lightly fell taking in the view and it was wonderful. My family enjoyed every part of the spacious house and grounds. You could find your own private space to relax; or have room enough for everyone to sit down together for meals or games. It is so far back from the road the only sounds you get come from the excavating company on the opposite mountain. The kids loved the pond, playing in the creek and riding their bikes on the private drive. Walking the many trails and seeing the rock walls and wildlife was really special. We hope to return someday.

Beautiful haven in Wyndham
This property is beautiful. Our teenage children roamed free with the dogs. Beautiful location with lovely walks, a gurgling stream, firepit, pond, hot tub and peace and quiet. Two families of 4 looking for a relaxing space to catch up with each other. This house was perfect.
Communication was excellent and the hosts did everything possible to resolve an issue with the hot tub.

Wonderful property
We specifically chose this property because it appeared to have a lot of things to do on the property without driving. For us it was perfect. Walking down to the lake was great, paddling in the pond was relaxing, we didn't get to explore all the property trails because our stay was short. I would come back again.

Another great visit!
We have stayed at Nick and Pat’s cabin several over the past several years. Last year we were unable to stay at their property as it was already booked for the season. We ended up staying at another property in the area, but the experience was just not the same. You can not duplicate what their property has to offer. We enjoyed ourselves hiking, fishing, and relaxing by the fire pit or in the hot tub. Everything you need is provided and they always seem to upgrade something every time we visit. We ventured out to Katerskill falls, Pratt rock , and Baliwick farms this year and enjoyed some good food at the Chicken Run, Lilly’s and the Windham Local. We’ll be sure to book early for next year so that we can continue to enjoy making memories at our favorite place.
