Just the right size for some family time. If your bored at this house your doing something wrong, Kevin is a pleasure to rent from. I wouldnt think twice to rent this home again.

This property was amazing! The owner was a pleasure to work with and we were so thankful to be able to bring family and fur babies! I would love to come back in winter as it was so beautiful. The deer literally came right up to porch. Home is a true gem. Would definitely stay again!

We were looking for a get away that was family friendly yet accommodating to our pets and this is the perfect place. The owner made our experience seamless and was very easy to work with. The descriptions and photos are very accurate. The development is quiet and private and surrounded by all forms of nature. We are looking forward to returning.

A beautiful cozy home that was exactly what we expected and more. Very spacious and clean. Offered something for everyone. From the peaceful setting on the deck to the feeding of the deer. The relaxing evenings in the hot tub. The family fun in the game room downstairs. Plus, all the close amenities that are included in the stay. My family totally enjoyed our week vacation. In fact it wasn't long enough. The host was very attentive and friendly, with quick responses to any questions asked. Our family definitely recommends this to your family. We plan to return, and are very excited to do so!

Great house for our family vacation of 10. House was open concept and large enough for large family. Quiet area with deer that will walk onto property. Could use a deep clean and outdoor updating. Decks and outdoor furniture need improvements. Minimal issues within house such as holes in doors, missing shelving in freezer, broken laundry room door. These issues did not affect our stay but I want to give an honest review. Overall, a roomy home that's a short drive to lake with canoe and kayak use. My family loved the lake beach and really enjoyed this home.

We had a great family time at this home! The location and the weather were perfect, and the house was big enough for our children and grandchildren. Kevin was always available with answers to anything we didn’t know and accommodating. We were very disappointed on the condition of the home which definitely needs a major cleaning out of old furniture, some of which is broken along with fixtures, walls , doors, deck etc. The home was to be cleaned upon arrival and we ended up picking up many marbles all over the dining room floor which our puppy could’ve choked on or my grandson so not sure the cleaning service was very thorough.

From easy check in to a warm home that feels like it was built for your family ! I would recommend this home for your friends and family and I am looking forward to my next stay at the home.

We absolutely loved our stay at this clearly lovingly cared for family home and we’re grateful to Kevin and his family for sharing it with us! Communication with Kevin was easy, frequent, and he went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The home is lovely and even larger than it looks in the photos. We sang karaoke in the big kitchen and sat in the living room by the fire and relaxed. The teens used the hot tub every night. The master bedroom is beautiful and the master bath is even better with the jacuzzi tub and just a tremendous amount of space. The location is great and we’d love to see it in summer. We didn’t check out the beach for obvious reasons so I can’t speak to any of the warm weather amenities. The kids did love feeding the deer (we have deer in our own backyard every day but it seemed more interesting on vacation!). Absolutely everything we needed was in the house and we didn’t leave much. Jim Thorpe is about 30 minutes away and we had a great day there, having lunch in a historic hotel and then walking around to see all the shops. One day the kids went to the Kalihari Water Park which they really enjoyed. And one night we went out to dinner but mainly stayed in. Overall, a truly great stay and a needed getaway for our family.

This was our first stay with VRBO. From the beginning, communication was great. Kevin reached out immediately and provided all the information we needed to stay at the house, what to bring to the house, and what was around including the owners’ personal favorites. Kevin continued to be available to answer questions whenever contacted. The house was all that it said it was and more! We went to spend time together as a family, different members during the week. There was more than enough room to do everything we wanted to do. The only disappointment we had from our interpretation from the pictures was the size of the downstairs game room. While there was ample room for us, the pictures led us to think it would be bigger. The day we were to arrive, Kevin reached out and sent a video to assist us in using the brand-new hot tub cover he just installed. That was so helpful. He also informed us that he noticed a leak under the sink and placed a large bowl there. He made note that he was looking to have the faucet replaced but did not have a plumber lined up. The next night Kevin reached out again to make sure everything was going ok, and it was. Later that night we took notice that the bowl under the sink needed to be emptied and we continued to watch it for the week. I am sure the next person to visit will not have to deal with that. It leaked a lot some of the time. In Kevin’s defense, we really did not want our visits interrupted by a plumber so we never bothered Kevin with the situation since he already knew. We had lovely visits with nature as well. It was a very special time and place and I believe we would consider going again.

The property was beautiful and quiet. The house had many amenities and the rooms were nicely decorated. The master bedroom suite with jacuzzi tub was spectacular. The host Kevin was very responsive and friendly. There are many things to be done close by and the trails are breathtaking. I would also recommend the scenic railway trip in Jim Thorpe.

The owner was extremely helpful, friendly and genuinely wished us a great weekend at his family’s home. The house was big and had a lot of personal touches that gave it a cozy feel. We all had a great time and enjoyed tubing at Blue Mountain. This house and weekend together gave us a sense of normalcy after a uncertain year.

My family stay at the house was great, there was more than enough space for everyone. The amenities were as expected. The on suite bathroom was a huge plus. The fact that there was a hot tub in the room added to the relaxing atmosphere of the entire house. I loved the island in the kitchen, there was enough room for the two of us who were cooking together. There were a few downsides. The fridge wasn’t cleaned properly, there was a spilled egg in one of the draws. In general, a deeper cleaning can be done between guests. The basement smelled musty. The TVs can only be used to connect to the internet. Only the living room tv connects to Netflix. The description of the home should be revised to say 2 full baths and 1 half bath. I thought there were 3 based on the home description. None of these things were deal breakers. I would definitely rent this house again and recommend it to anyone who’s having a small family gathering of 8-10 people.

We had a Great time at this property, the location great , house spacious And had much of what we needed. The property manager/owner made sure to be available should we need anything or have questions. When we got there both of the propane tanks were empty so we had to replace it ,not such a big deal for my family as Kevin gave specific instructions on how to do so. The property could use a detailed cleaning for spaces missed during routine cleaning. Overall the home was very comfortable , perfectly located and a pleasure to spend time in. We will definitely book this home again.

Beautiful house, awesome location. The owner was extremely friendly & accessible which made our stay even more enjoyable! We will be coming back & staying here again for sure!!
