A cama é EXTREMAMENTE desconfortável. Dores na costa todas as noites. Muito ruim. A piscina não eh um atrativo que Valença pena pagar a mais, pois eh INUTILIZÁVEL. Folhas na piscina, caramujo na piscina. Não vale a pena pagar por uma coisa q não se usa. Banheiro sujo.

Apenas mais opções de comida nos dois dias da semana em que o restaurante principal não funciona à noite (Cipó), pois o cardápio do restaurante Pau a Pique é reduzido.

The care of the staff is world-class. Truly a wonderful experience from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The view...wow...is there a better vista in Brazil than from the pool of Carmel? I highly doubt it! This is a truly wonderful establishment which deserves its high praise and is worthy of its expensive price tag. Big shout out to the lovely serving staff and J - I can't imagine a more hospitable, hilarious and helpful garçom. Additional points for the greatest ceviche I have ever eaten. Can't stop dreaming of it!

We found the eagerness with which the staff cleaned our room was a bit intense. We would leave our room for dinner or a drink, and we would return to two staff members steadfastly cleaning our room. It was appreciated, but a bit too much. One cleaning a day is all that is necessary, right?! Also, there was no hot water in the shower, and our pool was freezing. I wouldn't suggest paying the additional amount for a pool, unless you are fine with it being extremely cold.
