The desert is beautiful, so wherever you stay it's going to be lovely. We wanted the location nearest the Khazali canyon as it was one of our highlights to visit. The camp per se is very comfortable, well organised, clean. No aircon (we didn't need it, just for info). There is a solid wifi, but not a cellphone reception.

Well, it's more about communication than anything else. We were travelling with young children, wanted just a relaxing stay in the desert with Khazali canyon visit. Instead, we kind of had to embark on a 3hrs jeep trip through the desert. The dune and Khazali canyon were amazing,the rest was expendable for us. The guide was very lovely, but they have a set route and we had to go. I regret not insisting more for just a shorter one (I tried to negotiate with the owner but he was set that we need to take 3 hrs). But the hindsight is 20/20 🤷‍♀️ A few things to note - checkout is 9am and the breakfast set at 7am - the guide has knocked on our doors to wake us up at 7am! We didn't expect the 9am checkout, the owner mentioned it just the night before... Eventually, we managed to extend till 10am. But we would have liked more.

Great budget desert camp! Ali was super welcoming and helpful! His tour around the desert was great. The food was pretty good, and it was cool to see how they cook it in the ground. The room was super cosy and the beds were very comfy

There were some flies in the room The breakfast could use more options You had to pay for any extra water

This is a great desert camp. The tents are very clean, the yard is nicely landscaped and it has a great location on a plateau so you have a great view of the sunrise. Our shower had hot water, bed is comfortable and the tent is very spacious. There is a nice dining/meeting room, decorated in Bedouin style. Meals are excellent and plentiful, but coffee would have been nice to have. We did the full day tour with Sabo who was an excellent guide. He is very knowledgeable about the desert and the Bedouin way of life and fun to spend time with. Their prices seem reasonable compared to others we looked at. Once you book, they will send all of the information regarding tours and prices, as well as pick up information. There are no hidden fees which is a nice change.

My only suggestion is that the truck bed have a cover to stay out of the strong sun.
