We loved so many things about this mountain home that are really hard to find. First, this is not your typical TN cabin rental. It was so modern and luxurious while still having the cabin feel you expect in the Smokey Mountains. The craftsmanship was just beautiful. The bedrooms were all well appointed and spread out for privacy with two large master bedroom suites on each of the three levels. It’s extremely rare to find all master suites so that no one has to share a bathroom. We appreciated that the main level living room /great room didn’t have a TV. We spent a ton of quality time in this gathering space which was also close to the kitchen and dining area where we enjoyed all of our meals together at a table that fit us all. Some of us taking in the peaceful view and quiet time and others playing cards around the table. The outdoor space had very adequate seating for large families and groups. The lower level kept all of the younger ones entertained with pool table, tv, hot tub and an amazing theater room for all. We got to witness a mama bear and her three baby cubs pass by the side of the home on day one. What a way to start off our stay! Gary was the best host, very communicative, He really cares about his home and the people who visit it. The community itself was also so impressive! As you drive up the mountain, you pass so many other exquisite homes, all of them built so unique. The roads were wide and paved. This place by far is our favorite one yet! We’ll be back!

Blackstone Lodge is the perfect Smoky Mountain destination for our family. The views from the porch are incredible. The home is very well-maintained, clean, well-stocked, and secure. I would recommend without hesitation to family and friends.

Our stay was so beautiful and peaceful ! The listing was everything and more. Gary and Jennifer were great hosts and communicated often from beginning to end of your stay! The house is spacious, beautifully furnished and the views are spectacular … I would sit on the porch and just soak up the clean air. Everything is close by ( shopping outlet, grocery, Dollywood, water rafting, restaurants…) Ideal location, great hosts, beautiful surroundings and beautiful house! Blackstone Lodge was perfect vacation lodge for a family of eleven. The lodge had amazing views of the mountains. The owner checked in with us to make sure everything was in order, again before we checked out with final instructions and again after we left. The kids loved the game room, especially the pool table and the entertainment room. The adults loved the large front room, the deck with plenty of furniture for seating, the large dinning room table and kitchen island, the fully equipped kitchen, the spacious and amazing bedrooms with bathrooms, the large parking area. This is a five star lodge that met all our needs and is well worth the rental cost.

Home was beautiful, clean,and had everything we needed. the location was ideal! Access to the National Park was scenic and quick (entered through Townsend). Access to Pidgeon Forge and activities was close and also a quick trip. Property owner was friendly and very helpful and quick to response to any questions.

The house was beautiful and spacious. It was very clean and had a fully stocked kitchen. The deck and bedrooms were excellent and allowed my group of friends and family to enjoy ourselves. I would highly recommend this house to anyone!!!

Best house every rented! Wonderful location.

We loved our stay and wished we didn't have to leave. The house was clean and well-appointed, with nice touches such as attractive chalkboard signage explaining how to use the grill and the arcade machine. Every bedroom was comfortable, and there were plenty of public spaces to hang out in, so we never got bored. It was a short drive to get groceries and convenient enough for picking people up at the airport. We will definitely book again if we come back to the area. Big thank you to the hosts!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Blackstone! The pictures do not give justice to the views, especially the sunrises. Gary was extremely helpful after booking all the way through checking out. The home included everything we needed for a group of 13! This place had the space for all of us - coffee on the patios, adult kids hanging at the fire pit or playing pool, younger kids/grandkids enjoying Bluey in the theatre room or having dance parties and space for walkers and play areas for the youngest! We have been renting homes in this area for several years and this is the best. Our children and grandchildren all enjoyed their rooms. There is no bad room in the house. Beautiful, clean, & spacious cabin! Made so many wonderful memories during our short stay here. The game room and outdoor fire pit were a big hit with the whole family. And you absolutely cannot beat the gorgeous views of the smokies off the balcony! You definitely won’t regret staying here! It’s fabulous!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Blackstone Lodge. We had a family gathering for Christmas coming from Ohio, Georgia, and Florida. It was beautifully decorated and had plenty of space for our entire family of 13. The host was very responsive and provided great information about the location. The house was totally amazing, best experience ever!!

Our time at BLACKSTONE was fantastic. It was the perfect place to gather with my family to celebrate both Christmas and my birthday. Every detail of the property was exactly as shown/listed and the view was absolutely incredible. It’s apparent that the owners, Gary & Jennifer, take great pride in this home that they so graciously share with us. It was well appointed and large enough for us 14 adults to gather together or have private space. And it’s and VERY clean! Mother Nature brought forth an Arctic blast (wind chills below zero) during a few of our days and we didn’t get experience as much outdoors as we wanted to, so we’ve already begun thinking about our return trip to BLACKSTONE!!

I don’t know where to begin…. everything was exceptional from start to finish! I’m one that reads reviews so I’m telling you this is thee home to pick! We booked Blackstone for our family Christmas Vacation of 10 ( ages 25-64) plus an 11 month old. First of all the hosts, Gary and Jennifer, are amazing and their lodge is homey with a Ritz flare! Gary was so attentive, provided a list of activities and sites in the area, and made the entire process delightful. I feel like I’ve known Gary for years… he has a heart of gold! The lodge is magnificent and the views are breathtaking…. and that’s an understatement! I’d give this lodge and host more than 5 stars if I could! And to top it off my son proposed to his girlfriend at Abrams Falls Great Smoky Mountains….. my heart is full!! So many unbelievable and cherished memories made at this beautiful lodge. I could go on and on. I questioned “ how a place could have 5/5 stars”……sounded too good to be true, now I see why! We’ll be revisiting ! The views are amazing, the property is spacious, and the host is readily available! What we loved about this property vs some others that we stayed in was that each bedroom was a suite with its own bathroom!! The rooms are all spacious, the porches are amazing/spacious, the kitchen/dining area is open, and the layout is very friendly to large groups!! You will not regret booking this property!!

Amazing and Peaceful stay!!! We truly enjoyed this cabin. Everything is exactly as it appears online and the property is well kept! The host definitely cares about your experience and is responsive if there are any needs. I would definitely book again whether it’s for a getaway with friends or a gathering for the family. My group of friends and I usually book a couple’s a trip annually and we must say that this cabin is one of the top cabin’s thus far! The location of the cabin was located not too far from activities and the strip. Honestly there wasn’t a need to leave the cabin because it was equipped with enough entertainment for the 4 nights we stayed. Most cabin trips we run into an issue with the hot tub but we were able to enjoy it and the fire pit ☺️☺️☺️ Overall great experience! My husband was happy with this birthday trip with our friends. We had a great time with multiple families coming to spend time together. This house had a great deck that we spent a lot of evenings on and I loved the outdoor fireplace. It's about 30 minutes from a lot of hikes which isn't too bad and close to grocery stores. The view is outstanding. We did see a bear lumbering by the outdoor fireplace and down the driveway one evening around dinner time so be extra cautious! The Host was fantastic at making sure we had what we needed and being available for questions. I will definitely stay here again.

We are a party of six couples, friends since college, getting away for a long weekend to celebrate our 50th birthdays. Blackstone lodge was the perfect home to host our get together. The lodge was extremely spacious, with fantastic common areas where we could all gather together. The pictures in the listing do not even capture the beauty of this place. When you walk through the front door you are greeted with a beautiful view of the mountains. The lodge is completely stocked with all the items that you could possibly need from coffee makers to pots and pans, etc. We enjoyed our meals at the large dining table, or hanging out on the patio enjoying the gorgeous mountain views. We loved relaxing by the fire pit or hanging in the hot tub after a day of hiking in the Smoky Mountains. We also enjoyed watching football games in the theatre room. Gary was the best host - super responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend staying in this beautiful home.

This home is everything it advertises it to be. The forever views are absolutely incredible! The home is very well decorated - all the furniture very comfortable, including the beds. The kitchen is awesome and they even have an extra regular sized refrigerator. Every large home we have rented has NEVER had an extra refrigerator. It really helps with a large family and not having to go to the store so frequently. Another first for a vacation home is that the dining table actually seats EVERYONE! We had 10 people but the house could have comfortable hosted 5-6 more. The movie room was the best! The sofa was huge and so cozy and fit our entire family for movie night. We played pool on the billiard table and PacMan on the multi-game console. The spa was large and clean and had a spectacular view of the mountains and trees. Gary, the host, was so friendly and welcoming...and ALWAYS available for questions. He even texted us a very good list of things to do in the area, marina's, etc. He was so kind and helpful, I felt like we could really love to be his neighbor! Oh, one of the BEST THINGS ABOUT THIS HOUSE... A family of bears live nearby! Twice we watched them right up in front of the house...a mama and three cubs. It was the highlight of our trip! I cannot recommend a better vacation home in the Smokey Mountains that this beautiful home and we left with a lifetime of special memories.

I can’t thank Mr. and Mrs. Pickens enough for their hospitality. The house was beyond perfect for our large group. We 10 family members with ages ranging from teens to 60+. The house accommodated every more comfortably than I could have imagined. Having handicap accessible bedrooms on the main floor was so helpful for our family that had some mobility issues. The teens set themselves up downstairs with the games, TVs and had a great time each night after the older folks turned in. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we could possibly need as well as a large grill just outside. We spent so much time as a family on the deck overlooking the breathtaking Smokey mountains. Plenty of seating for all! We were pleasantly surprised to find that we could watch the fireworks from Dollywood each night as well! Overall it was a fantastic stay that I’m sure we will talk about for years to come. I highly recommend a stay at Blackstone Lodge. It is worth every penny and then some!

We had a group of fifteen. Ages 1-65. We all enjoyed our summer vacation at BLACKSTONE The space was wonderful. The views brilliant. Each day when we woke, or just before bed was a new painting by God from the large porch at the back of the house. Gary and Jennifer were very responsive to the few questions I had. The house was very clean. We played, hiked, cooked and road roller coasters together and enjoyed every second in this wonderful part of Tennessee. A perfect vacation.

Perfect! Adult kids and grandkids family vacation. Great views- very roomy, comfortable accommodations. Mom Bear and thre cubs visited on the last day! VRBO pics are spot on! Owner was great helping us out with any questions ! Highly recommend!

Our family members from IA, WI, MN and MO met here to celebrate our parents’ 60th wedding anniversary. The house worked perfectly for 15. The adults had private bedrooms/bathrooms and the younger adults/teens shared the basement where all the activities were. We cooked family meals in the lovely kitchen and fit all 15 of us at the large table. We spent the majority of the time lounging on the deck staring at the incredible view of the Smoky Mountains. You can enjoy nightly distant by fireworks from the deck too. You won’t regret renting this property!

Beautiful home in the mountains. Great space for all - bedrooms with private baths, large kitchen/prep/dining area, game rooms for the kids. Super clean. Gary was great to communicate and very helpful! Not to mention the beautiful views!

This place is somehow even nicer than the pictures... my family and I have stayed in the area several times, and this is the nicest place we've come across. It's in a community that has a lot of other homes, but this is tucked off the road far enough to feel secluded and private. The view is amazing, the home is larger than it looks, well built, and very well maintained. Plenty of outdoor space with a lot of seating, and shade. Very nice hot tub. Communication with Gary was great. We had a couple of minor maintenance issues while we stayed, but he was very responsive and quick to address them. Would definitely stay here again.

Blackstone lodge is perfect in every way. The property is immaculate, the views are stunning, and the owners are attentive and friendly. My wife and I traveled with our 2 grade school children; along with her parents, her special needs sister, and my parents, as well as our adult niece. There was plenty of space for everyone, and each generation thoroughly enjoyed the amenities of the house, the perfect location, and the overall experience. This property is easily one of the best in Pigeon Forge, and to our experience, one of the best on VRBO. Thanks again Mr. Gary and Ms. Jennifer for everything. If you’re on the fence about properties in and around the Great Smoky Mountains, don’t hesitate: Blackstone is THE BEST!
