The room was still small, but actually way more spacious than I expected. The bathroom was standard for Korea (shower over sink) but again, spacious and separate enough from the room. Good that it was private. The location was very good, a short walk from Hongdae and really easy to get home to even after a late night out. We weren't bothered by noise at all. It was also useful that the hostel was located above a laundromat.
It would've been better if there was somewhere more official/secure to store luggage, but not the end of the world.

The location was great, a quick walk to Hongdae/ the Hongdae subway station. The staff were SO communicative and helpful. The room was simple but great, the bathroom was really nice. Everything was clean and easy to use. And being able to store my luggage before/ after my booking was incredibly helpful, thank you!

This is an ideal apartment for a solo traveler which I was in this instance. Its effectively a room, with a double bed, TV and wifi - nothing more, nothing less. The apartment is about 10 minutes walk away from the closest subway so factor this is in should you have a heavy suitcase. What I did like was whilst it was not in the heart of Hongdae, there are nice selection of privately owned cafes, dessert shops and restaurants around the neighborhood. I needed a place for one night while staying in Hongdae and this apartment served its purpose as my stay on the whole was comfortable.
There is no lift so if you're travelling light or on the first or second floor, its not an issue. I however had 2x 20kg suitcases and was on the 5th floor so getting to my room was a serious workout. The apartment is advertised as having a private shower which is true however its not an en suite and instead across the hall, opposite the room. Furthermore, the shower room is very compact with the shower directly above the toilet; a unique set up which I have never experienced. Albeit compact, it was clean.

The location is good and 5min walk from the subway station.
There is only one toilet in female dorm, which is not convenient for 10 travelers.
