It is a quirky house that is affordable for families with pets. The owner was responsive, ensuring that the adjoining unit (it is essentially 2 units) were aware that we had dogs in the shared backyard AND that they did not have dogs too. Backyard was not ideal and requires attention so that it can be called dog proof. Mine escaped with ease and we put in some effort to prevent further incidences. Id also recommend that the backyard is split into 2 so that each tenant can use it without worrying about someone else’s dog.

Yard was well maintained, but having to share yard with another larger dog for our small dog was not a good option so for 5 days our dog had to only go out the front on a lead. Negotiations were offered but as their dog went out when it liked it wasnt really a good option for our little dog, and it was cold and wet most of the time. Not happy as i was a paying guest,not a family member like them. Constant noise from other unit next door was not appreciated at night for 1 of us trying to sleep. I thought it was a house not 2 unuts,ants are shocking, more thought and care needs to be taken,shower area is pokey and closing door is impossible unless youre a thin rake. Good location but a few things are lacking including a decent electric jug , yard being equally divided for 2 dogs. Heating great, was warm and comfortable mostly,just needs some tweaking and thicker walls in between units. A family member being next door made us feel awkward. We were led to believe we were there alone and were not told otherwise until we arrived. Not happy

I nearly didn't get to stay as the key lock system is loaded incorrectly. If it wasn't for the kindness of a neighbour and her knowledge of where the cleaners lived I would have had to come home without a holiday. I would advise the owner to immediately fix the problem as I was extremely distressed with the whole situation.

Great place for us to just relax and enjoy a break from the business of life. We ended up just hanging out in the house and doing little exploratory walks of the surrounds. Our puppy dog was happy there too! We are hoping to go back again for another break early next year.

If you are looking for a brand new perfect accommodation don't go here. If that doesn't worry you this is perfect, it's one house made into 2 units, it is not massively spacious but still plenty of room. It has everything you need. It's very close to beach and shops. Pet friendly. A place you injoy coming back to after being out and about very comfortable and the owner is a very easy and helpful person when you need to contact.

Very convenient and clean

Had to ask host about check-in details as I did not get any 2 days in advance but then prompt reply. No Wi-fi or internet reception on phone (Vodafone). No information/map on where to find things in Peterborough, no contact information of host provided. Cannot be googled there. Safety: Front and back doors are sliding glass balcony doors WITHOUT deadlock. Closing the fly screen unlocked the front door (after locking with key). Big sliding window in the back could not be locked. Backyard open - not dog-proof House had a mouldy/musky smell but didn’t trigger my asthma. Looked superficially clean but did not feel clean. Kitchen light flickering. Option between either sitting in the cold and watching tv or sitting in the room with heater (no tv). Single woman with dog: house can be entered from outside, no neighbours around, no internet (wifi or phone provider) to reach anyone or to even find out how to leave. I only stayed one night as it was too late in the day to leave but left the next morning. Host did not bother asking why. For families - potentially okay. But not for solo traveler

Our family of five and one dog had a great stay at this beach house. The house is not glamourous or modern but has an old-fashioned beach house feel which we enjoyed. The yard was a perfect size and secure enough for our dog to be let outside on her own. The location is great - walking distance to beaches and the general store/takeaway shop. Also close enough for day trips along the Great Ocean Road and to Warnambool. Would happily visit again.
