Location Location Location! It was one of our most relaxed vacation, really quite place and an amazing place to get out of the hustle and bustle of our city life. Locals are amazing and helpful.

Spent 10 day at "The Bach" . What a place. It felt like home the minute we walked in. What a view and the sound of the waves and ocean breeze relaxed us all right away. Communication with Melissa was perfect from the start. Once we arrived me were greeted at the airport and escorted to the property. It is maybe 15 minutes from the airport. The kids picked their rooms and after a trip to the market we were good to go. The kitchen has everything and then some. All the basics were there which is nice. Of course the wifi is always a thing and we never had any trouble with it. It works better in some places than others. Mobile phone reception did not work we wifi called instead. It get's hot in the late afternoon in the Summer even with the breeze and the pool saved us. After a quick dip you are good to go. Did we see a bug or two? OK sure so what? We are the invaders not them. We plan to return soon and I am 100% confident giving this property the highest reviews. It was perfect for us. It was everything we hoped for. Wow. Wonderful few days enjoying the island. The Bach was perfect for our kids. Fire pit to roast marshmallows, rock pools to explore and a pool to play in. Also enjoyed bike rides to the Great Cave. We’ll be back!

The Bach was the perfect setting to recharge our batteries for a few days while visiting the brac from gcm. The bluff and ocean views were equally stunning, bike rides down south side road to explore caves, walking a few minutes to a full moon yoga class, soaking in the pool when the afternoon sun became too hot, watching the meteors from the perseids zip through the sky, the brown footed boobies coasting by at eye level on the breeze...this is a place we can imagine returning to again and again. Thank you Melissa for sharing this piece of paradise with us 💕

We absolutely loved our stay at The Bach! The house had everything we needed plus more. The beds were soft and each room had a bathroom, which worked out perfectly for 3 couples. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, blender, coffee maker and anything else we needed. The views are amazing at the house and the sound of the ocean waves crashing could be heard from each room in the house. The house is situated near the end of the island and there were not any people around. If you are looking to unwind, relax and enjoy a peaceful getaway this is the perfect choice! We actually loved our stay so much that we already contacted Melissa to let her know we wanted to book this house again in the future. BTW, Melissa and Van were great!

We had a wonderful vacation at "The Bach." The location is fantastic-it's on the quiet side of the island and has a spectacular view of the water. The house is spacious, comfortable, and very well-appointed. Melissa has thought of everything you might need! We loved being able to spread out-there are plenty of common spaces inside and out. Melissa and Van were attentive and easy to reach. "The Bach" is absolutely delightful-one of our favorite VRBO properties ever!

My husband, son and I stayed for 10 days over Christmas and it is truly the first vacation I can say I was not ready to go home. Living in Florida, it is truly a blessing to find a gem like this. Away from people, yet only 15 mins, without traffic to the grocery or restaurant. The house has a fully furnished kitchen, comfy beds and a relaxing atmosphere. We spent a ton of time in the water or walking on the shore or out back on the fabulous deck. The bikes were a nice bonus to take to the end of the road and back. We collected a ton of bamboo and washed up wood from the shoreline and had a couple of fires....so relaxing. Melissa is amazing to work with and Van is there is you need him, although we had no need. We are already planing our next trip. Thanks Melissa!

The property was everything we could have hoped for and more. It was well maintained with plenty of space both inside and out to hang out, cook, and relax. My group had a fantastic time and would not hesitate to stay here again.

We live in grand Cayman. So what we may be looking for in a property could be different from someone coming from overseas. For us the Bach is the absolute perfect getaway for our family. Perfect for the kids and us. Come rain or shine (it does rain the the Caribbean!) you feel at home and comfortable. We’ve already talked about coming back and we will be back. If you’re not sure, book it today. You won’t be disappointed!!!

This property is clean, comfortable and the owner is very friendly and helpful. The view is astounding and the pool is a mandatory convenience. Food and supplies are a short drive and a car is needed. Once you have that, the house has the rest. Well appointed with everything you need. Sit back and relax in the shade, under an umbrella or float in the pool after diving and you will be happy. Easy gear cleaning for divers with a rinse tank and line for hanging gear. Property manager (Van) is helpful and responsive when needed. This is a home away from home.

My family and I enjoyed our stay the "The Bach". A great place to relax and unwind, which is exactly what we needed. The outdoor space with private pool is wonderful. We would highly recommend this place and cannot wait to return ourselves!

The Bach is a wonderful home. I would recommend this property to other family groups (like us!) who want to enjoy a carefree stay. The owners literally tried to think of EVERYTHING! The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of dishes, pots and pans, utensils, appliances and linens. We really appreciated this because we are vegetarians (with one vegan) and tend to prepare most of our meals on vacation. The house is spacious, clean, attractive and comfortable. We used the deck and the pool everyday. The onsite manager is very responsive if you need him BUT your first move if you have a question is the BOOK. Melissa has prepared the ultimate binder of information for guests. Every question, process, procedure, household item, etc. has an entry in the BOOK. My family took to calling it the "magic book" and we consulted it for everything from snorkel sites to the wifi password. The Brac is a relaxed and laidback environment. A stay at the Bach truly extends and enhances the "no worries" experience. Great stay - totally worth the trip!

Well furnished and nicely supplied this was a delightful home and would definitely stay here again. So many of of friends staying at other places had WiFi or appliance issues. None here! Do not be fooled by the rubber duckie! It made the pool look small in the photos. The rubber duckies is 10 times larger than a regular Little rubber Ducky. Lounging in the pool with a view of the ocean was incredible. Gets LOTS of water to have in the fridge. Hope to be back here soon! Melissa is the best and easy to work with!

Simply put - this home is wonderful and has everything. To begin with, there were four of us and the home was very spacious and had every possible need met from books to games to cooking and dishware.... you name it, this home has it. And the view is simply stunning! When you arrive, the view is to die for and it hits you in the face straight away. Caribbean sea view from every window. After the view comes the amenities. The owner has everything guests could possibly ask for and her customer service is superb not to mention the individual you greets you at the airport, takes you to the home and shows you everything this home has to offer....and we mean everything. And did I mention the plunge pool and the deck and covered deck area? What better option is there than a plunge pool on a hot day that is just steps from the Caribbean? Want coffee? There are multiple choices. Want multiple rooms? Check that box too. And the Master Bedroom has those views that we mentioned earlier. Want AC and cooling fans as well as dehumidifiers? Well this home has that as well. Could not expect a better stay than we had. And lets mention the owner again, she was wonderful and very responsive and thoughtful. A delightful person.

My adult son and I stayed for a week at Melissa's beautiful beach home. I've stayed in many lovely rental houses in different countries but I can honestly say that this is one of the very best! No detail is overlooked, from color-coordinated accessories in the kitchen and the bathrooms, to comfortable sitting-out spots on the spacious deck. We loved to take our coffee out on to the deck in the mornings and just listen to the waves crashing against the shore. In the evenings, it was a rum cocktail to enjoy while looking at the vast panorama of stars! The planet Mars happened to be right at 12 o'clock to the house, and unusually close to earth (comparatively speaking!) during our visit. Everything you could possibly want to cook and serve with is available in the kitchen, and plenty of plates, cups and glasses are provided. A dishwasher makes clean-up easy. There are A/C units in the bedrooms, as well as ceiling fans, making for a comfortable night's sleep in the August heat. Lots of storage space in the bedrooms (not that you need many clothes for Cayman Brac!) and each bedroom has an ensuite-bathroom with spacious walk-in shower. As the beach is stones and iron-shore, having a pool was a delight and we used it several times a day. Melissa has a comprehensive House Manual on the coffee table with details about the house, where to shop for groceries, interesting hikes to take, etc. We grew very lazy with each passing day and were more than content just to lounge by the pool, but we did hike the bluffs one day and saw nesting brown boobies, which was interesting. We loved the desolation of the place, hardly a car passes by on the road, and we didn't even spot a boat out on the ocean. We can't wait to return to the Bach on the Brac - and sooner rather than later!

We loved our stay at the Bach. Don't let the front view of the house fool you - the inside and back are awesome! The layout was awesome, and amenities were perfect - games, wonderful towels, good water pressure (for an island house), a place to wash the scuba gear, blow up pool toys and even a cutting device to take down a few coconuts to enjoy! The pool is small, but perfect to cool off any time - our family (children 17 and 19) had fun playing marco polo amid all the pool toys after our morning scuba dive or snorkel!. The outdoor furniture was wonderful and the instructions on keeping the place cool were spot on. We loved our two week stay on cayman brac - the island is very friendly and the diving was amazing. This house is a little remote from the action (and grocery stores), but the island is so small, it wasn't a problem! There was no one in the adjacent houses,so we had lots of privacy. Saw some amazing lightening light shows through all the windows late at night. As you can tell,- there is no water entry from the beach - but this is the case nearly everywhere on the island. We'd definitely rent this house again.

This home is a great place to spend time and relax. Melissa has provided everything you could need and this makes the stay easy. Great view, great pool, not sure about the duck (he stalks you) and great time. The ocean waves are soothing and the bedrooms are all clean and spacious with beautiful views. Very nice and easy to enjoy.

The stay at Bach on Brac was peaceful and tranquil. We enjoyed the pool the majority of time being there since we couldn't go to the ocean however hearing the waves crashing was just as inviting as the pool. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life; this is the place to go to. The owner Melissa was great in making sure we were accommodated and that things went smoothly during our stay. We would definitely return.

It’s perfectly put together to make you feel right at home when you walk through the door. Once you’ve opened the back porch doors you are hit by the amazing view of the ocean and the sound of the slapping waves, my particular favorite. It’s a place to either sit in peaceful harmony alone or with family/friends but still have the option of moving to a quiet part of the house to reflect. If there’s ANYTHING you think you might need in this home it’s already there. Pool towels aplenty, books, games, plenty of crockery and the beds and bedding are beyond comfortable. If you HAVE to use your iPad then no problem, Wifi throughout but they also have up to date magazines. Perfect for a couple, family or a bunch of friends who want to go diving. Something for everyone. For me though the best was waking up to that slapping, powerful ocean, music to my ears.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was very clean and well stocked. We enjoyed all the amenities including the pool. We had a small issue with the water and then the hot water on the 5th day which was quickly taken care of by Andy. Van was very helpful and were always quick to respond. The notebook that Melissa left was very comprehensive. We went with her suggestion on the dive company “Brac Scuba Shack” and the bar “Barracudas”. Excellent scuba diving. Overall, an excellent stay.

My husband booked this trip based on the reviews of others. It surely did not disappoint. The house was quaint and appropriate for where it is. It is very well appointed - there are many amenities that you would not expect. We stayed for 10 days and never saw anyone near the home. Luckily, the home next door was vacant, otherwise we would not have enjoyed it like we did. The home next door is very close and would have impeded the ultimate privacy we enjoyed. If you want a vacation where no one is around, check to see if the neighbors will be home. As Melissa says, the food situation on the island is very simple. The grocery store has very basic food. We brought a lot of snacks we like and were thankful we did. We went to the resort restaurant for most of our dinner meals but used the well equipped kitchen in the house to do all breakfast cooking and some dinner cooking. The house was clean and tidy and decorated tastefully. The pool is amazing! It is just big enough (we brought 2 floats to use), warm, and the view of the ocean is incredible. We highly recommend this home (as long as the neighbors aren't home - unless you like close neighbors).

This house was perfect for our stay. "The Bach" was built to frame the gorgeous views with bedrooms looking out over the ocean. The main living space opens up to the ample deck and pool for cooling off. Outdoor space is situated just right to give you shade or sunshine. Kitchen is stocked with gadgets and the decor is updated and comfortable. If you are looking for a true tranquil get-a-away, Cayman Brac is the island and "The Bach" is the house.

I'm having a hard time finding the exact words to describe and relay the feeling of contentment both my husband and I felt from the moment we walked through the front door. Such a beautiful and clean beach house with tasteful and gorgeous decor . We arrived on a Sunday and if you've been to the Brac you know the markets are closed on Sunday. My husband and I always bring our own meats and non produce food items. We were both pleasantly surprised on how well the kitchen was stocked with necessities . Simply replace what you use. The bed was comfortable. We used the grill outback on several occasions and even had a fire going in the fire pit on a few nights. Being on the south side we enjoyed the sea breeze and how quiet that end of the island is. We rode the bikes down to the end and checked out the cave and blow holes on the shore. Loved the bike!!!! It had a basket and a cup holder...what fun! The Brac is a very special place whose people are no nice and respectful. On calmer days we went to Buccaneers slip and Scott's dock to do some snorkeling and would return to the house to enjoy the beautiful pool. We found ourselves in it everyday, water temp never went below 82 degrees. This is truly a beautiful property and both my husband and I would not hesitate to return here. Our property manager Van was very attentive when we called with a few questions. I have to mention the big french doors that open out to the deck ...an absolute stunning view! we also enjoyed the apple tv we watched a few movies and binged watched a Netflix show, it's just something we don't get to do in our busy lives here at home. Thank you Melissa for sharing your home with us...we absolutely loved it! I miss it already.
