The house and location exceeded all expectations for our group. There was plenty of common and sleeping space, and we were able to enjoy the nearby amenities in Middletown and Newport. Marc was very accommodating and responsive throughout the stay, which was greatly appreciated. This was as good as it gets for greater Newport around Fourth of July!

The online listing does not do this house justice! The bedrooms were great, plenty of bathrooms and showers (including an outdoor one), great yard and deck and the kitchen/living/dining areas where fantastic. We had so much fun, there were tons of great places you could walk to (restaurants, breweries, ice cream, the beach, the cliff walk) and it was a super short drive to downtown. Marc was super-responsive to all of my questions and was a wonderful host. Would definitely rent this house again!

I am a Portsmouth RI native living out of state, and we love the Newport area. This year we were lucky to book this property. The house was great location fantastic, and the vacation was a huge success. With 8 adults and four children, lots of moving parts and the house was able to make everyone happy. The garage is loaded with games, chairs and a huge refrigerator which we took full advantage of. We are planning 2023 and hope to come back.

Overall, we had a nice trip. The house is in a great location- Beach and lots of food options within walking distance. It has a nice big fenced in yard and fire pit on the deck. There are lots of outdoor kids toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. in the garage. The first floor is nice with a stocked updated kitchen with everything you need. However, there are some things that need attention in this house such as a leaky shower head that doesn’t stay on the holder, a broken faucet handle and broken toilet paper holder all in the same bathroom. The dryer lint catcher is mangled and is a fire waiting to happen. The upstairs is very shabby- bad paint job, marks on the walls and door jams, wall anchors exposed in every room with no decor hung and uneven floors. We also noticed small ants all over the house around the windows and doors, especially upstairs. For close to $900 a night, we would have expected something a little more updated and well kept.

The house was lovely with ample rooms. We also enjoyed the porches and made use of the lawn for lacrosse. The house was conveniently situated to the many beaches, restaurants and other activities. All in all we had a super time.

We know Newport and MIddletown very well from over 30 years of summertime fun here. So when I saw that this house was a few minutes' walk to First Beach, I knew it would be perfect for my family - husband, three adult daughters with their spouses and toddlers and baby. The house did not disappoint - it is spacious, comfortable and has everything a large group needs. It actually has two full bathrooms plus a half bath - on the main floor right next to the main bedroom is a great bathroom with modern two-shower head shower; upstairs is a huge double vanity bathroom with a tub/shower plus another large half bath (vanity, toilet). Outside on the side of the house is an outside shower. The kitchen is large with all the equipment you need and in the garage are plenty of huge pasta and clam bake pots. The garage turned out to be a treasure trove of beach toys, beach wagons, umbrellas, lawn games. An extra fridge is in the garage, too, for any overflow. The porch wraps around a huge enclosed property that was 100% safe for our 3 and 4 year old active toddlers. Marc is very responsive to any question or issue and easily reachable via text message. We had a great time. One of our daughters just had a baby acouple of weeks before , so they could not come. But I think we would have had enough sleeping space and plenty of overall room if they had come. Upstairs, there are 4 bedrooms an enclosed porch with great view of the ocean AND a living room! We did not expect the upstairs living room. And almost every room has a digital tv. We will definitely keep Marc's house on our list. It is a perfect place for a week or more in Newport/Middletown.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. It is a very large and beautiful house with an expanded wrap around porch. It is a gorgeous property in a great neighborhood and is only a 5 minute walk to the beach, as well as some restaurants and stores.

Easy walk to the beach, Flo’s for delicious seafood and Clementine’s for ice cream. Also so nice to be just over the bridge from Newport, easy to get there but staying a town removed was ideal for us. Marc was very helpful and responsive. We would love to rent here again!

We had a wonderful week, house was perfect for annual family trip to RI! Great house, great yard, and so close to beach, restaurants and shops!

The location is the best in the neighborhood and the house is perfect for a large family. Plenty of room for entertaining and a great porch to relax. Hope to be back next summer!

Our friends and our 3 small children absolutely loved this house. It was perfect for the toddlers to have the fenced in yard and a very short walk to the beach. The location provides everything you could need within walking distance. Coffee, Pizza, Mexican, and a liquor store on the street. A+ perfect.

The house location was great, it had everything you could possibly need. The yard was large and kid friendly. We had our entire family and we were very comfortable. Mark was very responsive and friendly. I can’t say enough about how great the house worked for us.

This house is perfect! The location and amenities are unsurpassed. The owner has thought of everything to make sure the guests have a perfect stay. This house actually looks better in person than it does in the pictures. You have wonderful views of the beach from the decks and can hear the waves. It is close to great restaurants and the beaches.

We had a great time! The location is excellent and the property was clean and had everything you would need. I have rented quite a few properties over the last eight years and this was by far the best.

We really enjoyed our stay The house was clean and neat Great location with plenty of room. Living room is large and extremely comfortable for conversation and family board games. We really enjoyed the fire pit and the grill. We would love to rent it next summer

My family of five had an amazing stay at this home in Middletown. Great view of the ocean from the beautiful wrap around porch, excellent location, and very helpful owners. The fenced in yard makes it a great place for children and potentially small pets (if allowed?) and it's located in the heart of Middletown, within walking distance to all the places you'll want to explore.

This house is beautiful! The front porch and yard add to the rest of the house. The fenced in yard was great for the kids to run and play while the adults relaxed on the porch. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. All amenities that we needed were provided. We will definitely rent his property again.
