We had a great time!

What a wonderful rustic cabin! We were in town for a friend's milestone birthday and wanted to avoid a generic hotel. This place was perfect. The beds were very comfortable, everything was clean, and the hot tub was a great end to a couple nights.

Loved our little cabin for the holidays! It was close to downtown, hiking, Biltmore, and NC Arboretum while still feeling secluded. It also had all we needed to celebrate the season, included a very easy to use hot tub!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was a great place to gather my family traveling from different places.

Absolutely loved this property! A close 20-minute uber ride to downtown Asheville but perfectly nestled in the western mountains. The hot tub was super clean and worked great! Would definitely recommend this cabin for anyone wanting a relaxing mountain getaway.

Nice cozy cabin on mountainside. Very quite. Enjoyed stay.

We enjoyed our stay here. We wanted to have the best of both worlds having access to music but get away to the trees. We felt like we were in a treehouse sitting in the hot tub.

Great time. Easy access to Asheville. Easy communication with Owner when needed.

An amazing no frills property. Its close to town but far enough to still feel like youre in the mountains. The hot tub and fire pit were amazing!

The property was great! It had all the amenities we needed and was very clean. It’s located fairly close to Downtown Asheville as well. The drive was is steep so make sure you have a car that can get up a hill but it being Asheville it is to be expected.

the location was great! 10-15 min to downtown and even closer to the smaller down town main street. Really great. We used the smallest bedroom for our 2 year old and she slept great. we did use a door handle cover on the inside of the door since I was worried she would get out in the night. We cooked our breakfast and lunch daily and had everything we needed. The host was so responsive, so helpful. Having security on the house made us feel safe too. Hot tub was awesome. It was a great trip. Since our little one needed naps we needed to be close. So we would go out in the morning, come home for nap, and out again in the afternoon. There is a little local park like 5 min away too. The whole family loved it.

Nothing fancy, very clean, everything worked, owner very responsive, no surprises. Would definitely stay there again, was perfectly located for everything we wanted to do in Asheville. Would have preferred another half-bath in the place, but we made it work.

Stayed with 5 adults so 6 in the party. Great cabin and great location. Fab hot tub and outside area.
Only negative was the 3rd room. Sofa bed not great and no air conditioning in the 3rd room.
Host was very helpful and communicative.

This is a lovely rustic cabin in a very quiet location. There is a lovely deck to sit on and all you hear are the crickets and cicadas. The cabin is spacious with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. There aren't many houses beyond so the traffic is very quiet. It's a great place to catch up on your reading or painting as it has a great peaceful feel.

Relaxing and private setting as noted. A nice break from reality.

We had a great stay at this property. It was far enough to be very private and secluded, but a quick enough drive into Asheville to be able to get wherever we wanted to quickly. The cabin was nicely tucked away, comfortable and quiet. Didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub, but the deck was set up very nicely.

Wonderful cabin; stocked with everything we needed. Communication with host was great, place very clean and the outside deck with the hot tub and plants was so serene. We had a wonderful girls weekend. Thank you!

The property was very easy to find and access, however, the driveway is very steep, and if you are parking more than one car at the top, it might be difficult to turn around. The house was extremely clean and the house is a little ways from tourist spots, but we got where we were going in about 15 minutes. The house is surrounded by foliage so it is quiet. The hot tub is awesome and the fire table is a nice added bonus. There is only one bathroom, and it is small, however, very clean. There were only two of us, so it worked out fine. If you are trying to stay here with more people, the bathroom situation might be tricky. The owner was friendly and easy to get in touch with. He answered my one question very promptly. Overall, a great stay.

When we drove up, one of our teenagers exclaimed how cute it was. Upon entry, we found the home tastefully decorated and homey. Live plants in the spacious living room were a plus. As mentioned in reviews, the bedrooms are on the upper level and the bathroom on the lower. This did not present as big an issue as I feared as the steps are not steep and no great distance between them. The kitchen was stocked with most things you would like to have if you chose to cook on your vacation. The deck was large, the hot tub and fire pit was awesome. Nice grill available. Bedrooms were fairly spacious and very clean. One of the bedrooms had a modular setup that doubled as a couch and then could be assembled as a bed. One of our teenagers reported it to be "cool" and very comfortable. Plenty of blankets and pillows and such. The location was just what we wanted...secluded but easy trip to Asheville for the girls to shop, a coffee shop very near and restaurants within an easy driving distance. As mentioned before, the driveway is steep, and the turnaround requires several stops and turns but it was not a big issue for us. There is no way the owner could address that as the house is literally on the side of a mountain (which added to the charm). The owner provided a manual which I of course overlooked before I started pestering him) which gave explicit instructions on how to operate things. I found him to be exceptionally responsive and nice. Would definitely stay there again

I thought it was great that the host contacted me the morning of our trip to ensure we recieved all the details about the location, directions, alarm and door codes. Super awesome to make sure we were all set for a good time. There are dogs that bark pretty much all nigh long but if you can handle that the beds and pillows super comfy, hot tub great, kids loved the board games there. Overall great place to stay.

My family and I had a brief, lovely stay here. It was clean, cozy, and quiet. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short due to a family emergency back home, but our time here was relaxing and enjoyable, and the host was friendly and responsive. Hopefully we'll have a chance to come back and stay a little longer!

Property was great. Very clean and owner friendly and responsive. Close to everything in Asheville. My only issue is that the one bathroom is on the first floor and all the bedrooms are on the second floor. Otherwise everything was great.

Nice cabin with modern kitchen and superior outdoor amenities. We utilized the fire table and hot tub, each day. We prefer having the bathroom on the same level as the bedrooms, but enjoyed our stay.

For the first time after tens of countries and lots of rented apartments and houses, I'm putting the lowest score for this one. And the reason for that is not because of the stay itself, everything was mostly OK, the place was not very clean, but the host was available online, friendly, and replied to all messages, helped after we didn't disarm the alarm when we just arrived (we were too slow).
We left earlier than expected because of that huge winter storm in December 2022 and we were just afraid that it'd be too risky to drive in the morning with everything frozen. We texted the host after we left, received his good luck wishes and we thought that was it.
Unfortunately, in about a week I was charged one more time and lost the security deposit. The host blamed us that we didn't close the hot tub, it was full of debris and because of the very cold weather, some pipes were frozen and had to be repaired/replaced.
I'd like to clarify: we are absolutely sure we closed the hot tub. And I mean it. I did it myself right after the very last person came out of it.
So we thought that it was just a mistake and we'd explain everything to the host, but... He didn't really care about anything we were saying. He didn't even try to pretend, that he is interested to know what really happened. Maybe it was wind, or maybe someone opened it after we left (the host said he came 7-8 hours after), we had no idea. He obviously didn't care, all his answers were basically like - no, it's your fault, you didn't close the hot tub...
We switched to support, and sent all photos and videos that we had; we built the timeline and sent proof, that we closed the hot tub after we used it. Then waited for 2-3 weeks, calling support from time to time, and I was told, the host just ignored all their e-mails.
But after all, we just received another mail, our case was just closed, it looks like they didn't even check anything. Just useless.
And the only thing left for us is to guess. Was the hot tub really open when the host arrived? Did some pipes get frozen and was it related to our stay? What if nothing was wrong?
Losing money for something you didn't do is bad, but the worst part is being blamed and called a liar. We've never had anything negative AT ALL from any owner.
I'm not sure for how long this review stays here, maybe Vrbo or the host will decide to remove it. But if I were you, I'd never use Vrbo, since you are not protected at all. And I'd not stay at this place too.

Nice little place for the wife and I to getaway for our anniversary. Josh was easy to contact and helped with our arrival. I would stay here again.

This rustic cabin worked perfectly for three friends whose main goal was to spend time hiking. Mission accomplished! Also appreciated two full sized couches in the living room for binge watching Handmaids…😂
