The location of this property was perfect for our weekend in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Walkable to everything on Queen Street as well as short walks to Pillar and Post and the Willow Cakes and Pastries cafe meant we often left the car at the house to enjoy a pleasant stroll. The house itself is perfect for a couple: cozy, with anything you might need in the well-appointed kitchen (even though we were out for most meals). The neighborhood is also quiet, making for a pleasant break from the hustle and bustle on Queen Street. We hope to return again one day to enjoy this spot again.

This house is a .5 mile walk to the main tourist district, which is good since parking is difficult. It is also near to some restaurants (including Tim Horton’s) and a small grocery store. The neighborhood is also a beautiful place to walk due to all the well maintained gardens.

Excellent bungaloo with everything you need to enjoy an overnight, long weekend or week's vacation. Just a half-mile (800 meters for you Canadians who understand the metric system unlike Americans) from the signature street of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Just a 10- to 15-minute walk to Lake Ontario. You are positioned perfectly to go anywhere -- to visit The Falls with a 25-minute drive south or to bike along the Welland Canal with a 15-minute drive west. You are surrounded on three sides by winery after winery after winery. On the fourth side you must chose between gelato, ice cream or gourmet popsicles. Enjoy your options!

Spotless and super clean. Comfy pillow top beds. Excellent location. We loved the home because of the heritage and history of the area in Niagara on the Lake. Patrick was a super attentive host. The adorable and charming cottage is on a quiet street about a 10-minute walk from town. We had plenty of space but spent most of our time touring wineries, biking etc. The kitchen was fully equipped. The backyard was private with a sitting area to have take-out or a glass of wine. Very walkable area. Would stay again.

We loved the neighborhood and the proximity to downtown, but were extremely disappointed with this property. So much so that we cut our trip short after one night and went home, even though we had pre-paid for the whole trip. In short, we felt really uncomfortable there. There were issues of security, comfort, cleanliness, decor and space. I did contact the host about it, and he dismissed or denied my concerns, saying that I’m the only one to complain. Well, traveler, consider this your warning. You’re welcome.

This little cottage was perfect in so many ways. The distance from downtown was very walkable & the neighborhood always felt safe to do so! It was spotless and so welcoming when we arrived, Pat was so friendly to work with, always responsive to questions and concerns. Thanks for the hospitality, our stay was so relaxing, we can't wait to return!

Property was a little smaller than I anticipated from the photos but it was big enough for our needs while in town. Everything was cleaned well. The host was very accommodating with a very late checkin on our part. The only let down was the bed in the primary bedroom. My wife and I both had trouble getting good sleep due to the mattress.

My daughter and I had an enjoyable weekend at Sweet Williams Cottage. The place is not large, but suitable for two people. Is cozy and well appointed. The neighborhood is quiet and just a short walk to downtown. The cottage is clean and bright. I would only suggest a second lamp for the living room, as the one lamp does not provide enough light after dark.

Doesn't get better than to be walking distance to everything in NotL. Easy access to all roadways - the highway to the border & to St Catharines, as well as back roads to local wineries.. All the conveniences of being at home while staying in this cute cottage. Perfect spot for me. Host was very responsive to my questions and made it easy for me.

Sweet Williams Cottage is a delightful vacation property. The moment we walked in the door we felt at home.Pat was a wonderful host to communicate with. The cottage is on a beautiful street a few blocks from Main Street-perfect location-close to walking/biking paths as well. I enjoyed reading on the patio and relaxing on the most comfortable couch ever. The high table with stools was a perfect work location for my spouse. The “cottage” was very spacious-charming details-gorgeous hardwood floors-I could have stayed for months. We will definitely be rebooking in the future. Thank-you Pat for sharing this wonderful vacation home.

Great location!
This cozy cottage is in a great location to walk to the village for dinner and shopping. We enjoyed spending time in the yard and front living space, however the air conditioning unit struggled to cool the place sufficiently. We appreciated the parking for 2 vehicles on a quiet street. Would definitely recommend Pat’s cottage for a weekend getaway for a couple or up to 3 friends.

Weekend Getaway
My fiance and I recently stayed at Sweet Williams for a weekend getaway. This place is great if you are looking for something walking distance to the main strip. The kitchen was very well equipped (we cooked dinner and breakfast each day) and so that was a big plus for us as well!

Great Location, Great Stay
The house and location was perfect for our girl's getaway. We were 2 blocks away from the bike rental shop and a very short walk to downtown. We were able to sit outside in the backyard and enjoy the evening. Check in was seamless. Bedrooms were cozy but we were there only to sleep.
