Lovely, friendly and accommodating hosts, who made us feel very welcome and were knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Homely, warm and comfortable accommodation, providing spacious room with en suite bathroom facilities, in beautiful, quiet setting. Helpful directions offered to the location. Delicious cooked breakfast, catering for our dietary needs, with additional toast and cold buffet items on offer.

Friendly welcome, fantastic location location, delicious hearty English breakfast

Our stay at Foxhill Fold was just perfect. 10/10. Our room was immaculate and the beds were so comfortable. Dave and Valerie went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and the breakfast was beyond our expectations. Our children, 8 and 6 were so happy at this bed and breakfast and they so enjoyed the breakfast. Snow had fallen overnight and Dave with his salt bag and shovel helped us out together with pushing our car up the small hill. We look forward to visiting again.

Signage outside the building could be clearer in order to find the location, especially in the dark. The directions to locate the correct building within the complex in the email could be further highlighted. The room was quite small, but adequate for one night. The travel kettle cord in our room was not long enough to reach the nearest socket, from where it was. An extension lead would be required.

The hosts are absolutely fantastic. The rooms are stunning with ultra comfortable big beds and amazing views. The breakfast was so delicious, all freshly cooked, large selection from cereals yoghurts fresh fruits and freshly cooked English breakfast all in all if your looking for the best BB then this is the place Stayed at top rated hotels in this area, and this hidden gem is far better. The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay relaxing inc cookies, tea, coffee, bottles of water in your room to real size shower gels, too, and not the mini bottles you find in hotels. They even provide ear plugs in case your partner snores. These little extras make this BB better any 5 star hotel in the area.

Greeted with a smile and a decent brew, it's a beautiful hidden gem. I've been a few times before and will stay again. Stay here to visit family. Fabulous views any season. Home cooked full English breakfast plus selection of fresh fruit, cereal, and much more. Ultra comfortable bed, room full equipped with tea, coffee, cookies and ear plugs perfect if partner snores, if they don't then you won't need them as it's peaceful location. Fred parking A+++
