Das Oaks Cottage befindet sich in der Northern Cameron Parish und ist von wunderschönen „Live Oak Trees“ umgeben. Die Unterkunft ist ein komplett eingerichtetes Cottage mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 1 Bad, nur wenige Minuten vom berühmten Großen See entfernt. Schlafmöglichkeiten für 4 Personen, hat 1.350 Quadratmeter Wohnfläche. Alle Bettwäsche und Geschirr zur Verfügung gestellt. Waschmaschine / Trockner, zentrale Klimaanlage und Heizung, WiFi und Kabel-TV, wo jedes Zimmer einen Fernseher hat. Große überdachte Veranda mit Grill und Feuerstelle. Auf dem Grundstück ist ausreichend Platz zum Abstellen Ihrer Boote (Fishermen Welcomed). Nur 10 Minuten vom Herbert Camp Bootsanleger entfernt. Vogelbeobachter sind herzlich eingeladen, unser Paradies entlang des Creole Nature Trail hinunter nach Cameron La zu genießen, eine 50-minütige Fahrt. Sie sind 15 Minuten vom Prime Restaurant und der Bodega Wine Bar und 20 Minuten von den Casinos und gehobenen Restaurants entfernt.

Came down for our annual friends fishing trip, using cat 5 charters and the guide launches at Calcasieu point this location was perfect. Spacious, clean, and peaceful. The house was to date the best air bnb i had stayed in, beds, couches was like sleeping on a cloud. Whole house had everything you could ask for.
Highly recommended
Only thing is there is a curve at where the drive way meets the road that can be pretty dangerous so be careful otherwise perfect.

The property with the Live Oak Trees is Beautiful, and the home is perfectly cozy. I love the décor of the home and the bed was very comfortable. It has all the accommodations of home, just bring your food. Our host were awesome, very friendly and tentative to answer questions. Would highly recommend staying at this property.

Incredible cottage. So comfortable, clean and immaculate property. It is a great set up. Plenty of supplies from coffee, blankets, pillows and toiletries. A/C and all appliances work great! There is even a full size washer and dryer. Fully loaded kitchen. The beds are very comfortable. We slept so good! Our teenage kids loved the stay too. Big Lake has a ton of things to explore and a nice Cajun restaurant 5 minutes away called T Boy’s. There is a Public Pier walking distance or if you prefer to drive there is plenty of parking. It really seems like a semi private pier as it is tucked away. We all enjoyed catching speckled trout, reds, black drums and crabs. We were visiting family and anytime we go back we will be sure to stay at Oak Cottage again.

We rented this property for a weekend film shoot, and every step of sorting out and utilising the space was impeccable. Angela and Jeffrey were very accommodating and communicative, and the space itself was exactly the lovely look and feel we were searching for. Highly recommend this listing if you’re looking for a weekend trip!

Fantastic Getaway
I chosed this location because of the location. Rural area, very peaceful and close to the water. I also chosed this cottage because if the really great reviews. The reviews were spot on. This was a fantastic getaway. The host were nearby and very hospitable. The amenities were more than enough, the activities in the area kept us exploring, we didn't finish with getting to know the area, so, we have to come back. We really enjoyed this vacation.

Such a perfect little cottage nestled in the coziest environment. We especially loved the seating areas outside. If you are looking for a quiet get away, this would be ideal. Perfect weekend getaway
Me and my husband rented this property for a weekend getaway. It was perfect! Beautiful property, very peaceful and relaxing. The house was so cozy. We loved it! We would definitely rent this place again and will plan on bringing our kids next time to fish!

Absolutely amazing, host were perfect with communication. The dark nights are quite with a great view of the stars, wish we could've fished at the nearby pier. Draw bridge caught us everytime because you're on an island, which is cool. Will refer and/or go again.

Our honeymooners (my daughter and new son in law) were beyond excited about relaxing here for a short getaway until they can go on an extended honeymoon. We’re from this area and know the difficulties of putting our small towns back together and our community never leaves one another behind. It was definitely proven during this process of booking with these amazing owners who went above and beyond for us. They even left a bottle of champagne and glasses out with a sweet note to the newlyweds. We will forever be grateful to them for giving our kids a piece of normalcy. Even for just a couple of nights. Comfortable and well equipped!
This was the most well-equipped vacation rental I have ever been to. They had everything we needed and then some. The couch and beds were all very comfortable. We were in town to go fishing, so the location was great. Absolutely no complaints and would definitely stay there again!
