We had a problem with the heating in our room which was sorted immediately. Friendly staff a great breakfast

it was very old and quaint but the bedroom was freezing on arrival. we had to sleep fully clothed. the bathroom temperature was 6 degrees. we asked if the radiator could be repaired but nobody came. we had to use two hairdryers to warm both rooms up in order to comfortable. I even bought long thermal trousers and a fleece to wear. no fire lit when having breakfast it was cold everywhere

We had a lovely visit! The staff were more than helpful and attentive to us and the breakfast of a morning was exceptional. It was an incredibly cosy and tranquil stay.

Staff was wonderful! They were very helpful and accomodated our request for an early breakfast so we could get going on our walk a bit earlier. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Ginger biscuits in the room were a nice touch.

Beds were a bit hard. Ok if you like a firm bed.

I would have preferred an accessible shower for ease of use. I have a disability where it is difficult to climb into a bath. There may be such facilities in the hotel but I didn’t ask for this so it could have been my error.

Excellent breakfast , ideal location, very friendly staff.

Parking was a bit tricky as we didn’t have change . A voucher for the long stay car park would have been handy .

Traveling from the States meeting friends from London. Staff was very accommodating. Great dinner and breakfast.
