Etablissement superbe et très bien situé avec un accueil chaleureux et de très bon conseils pour nous aiguiller dans notre découverte de la Crête. Chambre spacieuse et confortable. Petit déjeuner copieux.

Monipuolinen aamiainen täytti hyvän aamiaisen kriteerit helposti.
Erittäin avulias ja ystävällinen henkilökunta. Auttoivat mm. auton vuokrauksessa, päiväretkien suunnittelussa jne.
Erittäin hyvänkokoiset parvekkeet. Sijainti riittävän lähellä rantakatua, mutta tarpeeksi kaukana jotta melu ei kuulu.
Bussilla matkustaminen esim. Haniaan todella vaivatonta ja helppoa (tiketillä 1,5 Eur, Bussista 2,5Eur) ja Taksi Haniasta takaisin noin 12 Eur.
Toiset nukkumapaikat olohuone/keittiössä oli pieni yllätys, mutta senkin kanssa pärjää kyllä. Suihkussa vedenlämpö oli joskus melko raikas...

Hotel familiale, très bien situé pour rayonner sur l ouest de l île.

Room/studio very clean, super breakfast and certainly excellent value for money. I suggest you to rent a car because the island is very big and it is difficult to move from one side to the other. The west area is still the one with the greatest attractions. In the structure what makes the difference are Mike and Inka who know how to give you an answer on anything (and if they don't have the answer they find it). Thanks for your availability. You are one of the good memories of this holiday. Restaurant is placed outside the building (more or less 300 meters from studios) with excellent quality food (many Italian and international dishes, some few local). Reading some comments (thankfully few) I don't understand what people want. If you want a 5 star, then go to a 5 star, but the price you will pay and the treatment will be very different. ;-)
- parking area is not very big but you can put your car in the street
- first day (owing to the rain) it was not possible to eat breakfast on the terrace and the closed room is not very big........but luckly other days weather was perfect and we had the possibility to have it looking at the sea

I booked and paid for a superior seaview room for 7 nights. This i was given for only 5 nights and due to the property accepting a another booking for a larger party of people moved us to a triple standard seaview room for the last 2 nights. No apology was given to altering my booking . I was just told on arrival you will move room for the last 2 nights.

Pool was lovely with pool bar, decent breakfast with lovely patio with lots of shade and very short downhill walk ( less than 100 m) to restaurants, beaches, promenades. Mike, the host is probably the best host I have ever stayed with in my life, - I am 55 and have travelled a lot for both work and pleasure and he is brilliant. He is always friendly, offers advice, makes great cocktails by the pool, a cracking iced coffee in the morning, etc etc
In one room, the shower power was a bit weak, not dribble weak, but not fantastic. But this was in the rom we stayed in for the first night before we were moved to the family room we had booked.

Everything from the first day was wonderful. We had a great and friendly welcome from Mike and his wife. Room was totally equiped, but not just that: there is books, games, a nice bar for cocktails that mike opens in the evening, you can even have your umbrella for the beach in case you dont have one. Breakfast was huge and very good, and pool was always available. I can only recommend this booking and we are absolutely satisfied after our week in Creta.

Mike, the proprietor, has the charisma for owning and operating an establishment such as Alexandros Studios. He went out of his way to welcome and settle guests. The breakfast was spectacular (as per several reviews)!

A perfect welcome with a pleasant surprise from the owners.
Excellent apartments and atmosphere. Everything has been thought of. You can feel that this work brings joy to the owners.
From the terrace you can see the sunset, the sunrise, the sea, and the romantic courtyard of the apartments with 2 pools and a bar where the owner himself will serve you.
About breakfast. It is not correct to call them breakfast. Rather 2 in 1 - breakfast and lunch. Very rich and fresh breakfast. We miss them already.
Dinner takes place outside the apartments, in the restaurant. Also very rich and tasty, with a surprise at the end. Food can be chosen from the menu.
When checking out from the apartments, the host said goodbye with another surprise.
For now it is difficult for us to understand what we are missing for more - beautiful and diverse Crete or Alexandros Studios. Anyway, we want to return to both places :)

Mike and his wife were really welcoming! Mike gave us a map and gave us amazing tips from different places where to go and spend our days. The breakfast was super! The rooms were big, comfortable and clean! Hot and big shower. We were traveling with the car, but we also found really nice restaurant around walking.

overall very clean and safe . we were welcomed upon arrival. Mike and his wife were so nice and helpful with recommendations for the island, he gave us a local map. room overlooking pool was beautiful. very close to walk across street for sunset view . you can also see part of sunset on balcony. Breakfast was delicious , fresh eggs, fruit, you can even juice your own orange or grapefruit pastries, lots of variety of cheese and more. room had kitchen and all amenities including mini bar with items available in fridge for purchase. facility is close to shops, supermarket, and restaurants. would highly recommend.

Thanks to Mike and his wife for making our trip exceptional. They are always there to help, advise and arrange anything. We had some great conversations and fun. The rooms are clean and spacious. No problem with parking. Pool is nice too. Close to restaurants and local shops. Crete is less crowded in the spring but more authentic.

This was simply a wonderful experience. I couldn't recommend Alexandros Studios more and we can't wait to return! Mike and Inka were genuinely warm and friendly, always ready to help, and even at the end of the long tourist season, they made you feel most welcomed. They had amazing suggestions on places to see in Crete and the breakfast was both tasty and varied. Our room was quiet and spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the shower had plenty of hot water.

Spacious rooms, nice garden/pool, great hosts, nice cleaning every day, great info from the hosts about surrounding areas and sightseeing, accessible from main street and close to bus stop/shop/restaurants/beach/rent a car.
At least 2 of the double rooms from ground floor can be noisy at night because of the air conditioning of one room that is in between them, where the AC is older, and you can hear it really loud, if that is something that can potentially bother your sleep.
The breakfast is served on a nice terrace but although it has a lot of choices, it is the same everyday for 7 days. Some small changes can be made.

Mike and Inka are great hosts and provided us with some great ideas for beaches and places to visit. The pool is nice and deep and th ebeds were really comfortable. Esxcellent breakfast and Mike's Espressos are great.
A little bit more clarity on the half-board policy. However, the restaurant down the hill was excellent and the food did not disappoint.

A clean, comfortable, well-equipped room in a quiet location but close to the coast. The pool was a good size and very clean. Breakfast included a large choice of savouries, sweets and fruit. The minibar was full of alcohol and essentials. Excellent value all round.
All good except breakfast coffee could be better.

Beautiful place.
Pastoral location and very relaxing.
Due to unexpected external reasons, we stayed there only for one day and not two as booked.
We didn't use the facilities, but it looked very appealing and in good taste.
Mike the owner was welcoming and a sincere person.
Breakfast was super generous.
It would have been nice to have the booking as planned.

The location is beautiful, stunning view from the balcony to the sea. There is a bus stop in the nearby, appr. 200m from the accomodation with which you can reach the best places easily. So even if you do not rent a car, you wont be lost. Breakfast was unique, very rich variety of food and drink, you can prepare your own juice from local fruits. The best of all is the host, Mike, who was endlessly kind and always try to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Very good and useful advices were given in relation to where to go, which restaurant to choose depending on your preferences. His wife Inka was also very friendly. Family-like atmosphere was ensured.

Mike and Inka are the best hosts we ever met. They are so kind, helpful and professional always available to give you the best advise to better enjoy your staying in Crete. The apartment is very nice, confortable and it fully met out needs. The intercontinental breakfast is great and fresh fruit is always available.

It was comfortable, peaceful and not crowded. Situated on a hillside, nice views over the sea, lots of beautiful flowers and plants. Close to beaches, 5 minutes walk down the hill, plus bus stop to take you to other nice beaches and Chania town center, around 20 minutes. bus tickets cost €1.5
Also convenient if you like to visit Elafonisi and Paleochora beaches by bus or you can rent a car nearby.
Lots of fresh fruits for breakfast and a lovely roof terrace to enjoy the view over your breakfast.
Free airport pick up by the Host, Mike was a bless to start my holiday, especially when new to the Country.
