Beautiful building and tastefully decorated. Spotlessly cleand and well cared for. Friendly welcoming staff. Good breakfast selection of cold typical Salentine dishes, cereals, fruit, bread, cake, eggs, cheese and meats- loved the Pasticcotto!! Lovely quiet adult only location , lovely gardens and pool for relaxing a very short drive from town.

The Bathroom lets the experience down, it needs modernising, the corner piece of the shower cubicle was broken but the cleaners kept using the shower mat to hold it in place and cover it up. Needed to ask for toilet roll daily as cleaners werent replenishing what we used.

AC didn’t work well. Staff was a bit officious and lacked warmth

Schöne alte Villa mit Garten und Pool. Frühstück war für uns gut, von süss bis salzig und lokale Speisen vorhanden. Personal freundlich Lage gut, mit dem Auto in 3 min im Zentrum

Das Bad ist recht in die Jahre gekommen. Beim Duschkopf kam fast kein Wasser raus wegen der Verkalkung. Wurde nach unserem ausdrücklichen Wunsch gewechselt. Das Ablagetablett aus Glas war in der Dusche nicht fixiert und ist meinem Mann auf den Fuss gefallen und verletzt. Der Fernseher steht auf dem Tisch rechts vom Bett , macht überhaupt keinen Sinn. Schlüsselsystem kompliziert und unpraktisch.

Property impressive and traditional, and the pool and grounds were very nice. Breakfast good. Bar/ breakfast staff very friendly and helpful.

Lots of hidden costs, especially given price of accommodation compared to similar properties in the area eg had to pay for everything, and no free coffee or water in room (and warnings not to consume anything bought outside the property even in your own room). We were travelling around Puglia and didn’t encounter anything like this anywhere else we stayed. Arrived early and told our room was ready but we would have to pay extra to check in earlier- again something we didn’t encounter anywhere else. The walk into Otranto wasn’t too long, but those with mobility issues may struggle with the uphill location. Some staff were very helpful and friendly, but some were surly.
