Exterior of pub/ lodgings quite nice. Centrally located. Room was fairly decent but bed needs a new mattress.

Staircase up to room had a broken hand rail and landing smelt musty.

Good location, very friendly staff, very homely pub.

It was convenient near town

The room was very outdated, there were no curtains to close and for the room we were in was overlooking the courtyard so at night everyone was able to view you anywhere in the room, So we had improvise and put a duvet sheet up in the window. The taps in the bathroom swivelled round so when you went to turn them on you had to hold the tap in place. The mattress was hard and looked very old you could feel the springs in the mattress. I would not stop here again.

Location great for Quays shopping, docks, and Llanthony Priory, which we found by happy accident.

Very tired, needs some investment in decor and floorboards. Breakfast unremarkable at £11.50pp.

Relative proximity to the Gloucester Quays was great, I was there for business in Quedgely which was really easy to get to. Decent selection of real ales. Shower was great pressure and temp.

The small individual shower / soap bottles were only half full so they looked poorly refilled. Dated decor in rooms. I only found out when I asked what time breakfast was served that the chef was ill so there would be no breakfast.

Good location.

Awful smell of sewerage on the stairs up to rooms, made me feel nauseous. No breakfast available due to cook being off sick, told to go to the cafe over the road. Very noisy late at night, music playing, very loud talking. Room was very dated, shower room very dated, shower was unpredictable, nearly got scalded whilst in it, hot tap on sink not fixed moves around and turn the incorrect way.

there is a vibrant bar and food is very good

no disabled access or air conditioning. bedroom was fairly basic and no hairdryer
