Hotel Felix

Great location. Rooms were lovely

We booked parking for a van, it was quite frustrating as there is no key fob for the gate so we had to go in and ask to be let in a few times and also another time we came back someone was in our spot so we had to wait a 15/20 minutes for someone to come from their room to move. It would be nice to have a key to get in and out and then lock your spot away to prevent this. The evening staff person also wasn’t too happy or helpful about anything and they leave at 10pm. The breakfast is not worth getting it doesn’t even look edible and looks like it’s sitting there days.

The room was immaculate; its sleek modern look softened by tailored floor-to-ceiling drapes. The bathroom was all glass and chrome, with up-to-the minute fixtures. breakfast buffet was excellent. Plenty of choices. Freshly prepared bacon and eggs along with a variety of alternatives; breads, rolls, pastry and my favorite (croissants) obviously from a very good bakery. Juices. Coffee. Fruit and takeaway items for those on the go.

The street out front is undergoing major infrastructure replacement, yet we were still able to get around easily. There are so many restaurants, shops nearby. Major sights and great shops and restaurants are within walking distance.
