Abbazia Collemedio Resort & Spa

Bella struttura, buona la spa, ampia e pulita la camera come ci si aspetta da un resort 4 stelle.

Male la ristorazione. Due turni per cenare alle 19.30 e 20.45. Abbiamo cenato nel secondo turno. In menù tre primi ma il cameriere, solo quando ne abbiamo fatto richiesta, ci comunica che le tagliatelle sono finite. A nostro parere è inaccettabile che chi faccia ristorazione possa finire uno dei tre primi nel menu, soprattutto se l’altro è una minestra e l’ultimo una pasta ripiena con formaggio. Se ce lo avessero comunicato per tempo sicuramente non avremmo cenato presso la struttura.

This was our second visit to Abbazia Collemedio. We came as a large family group (10 in total) for a 30th birthday celebration. The hotel were wonderful in accomodating us and were always on hand to assist us, help with organising a birthday dinner and brunch. The hotel is simply beautiful, with clean rooms, a stunning pool and bar area, and a lovely spa. We will definitely be coming back.

Our only criticism was that the younger members of staff who were working on the bar occasionally played their own music over the sound system which was not appropriate for the bar area. We did politely ask for the music to change and they accommodated.

breakfast was very poor. we weee there for 7 nights and having exactly the same food every day was extremely boating and the breakfast was worst than a 2 star hotel! only scrambled eggs and boiled eggs as portion, no fried eggs or omelette were offered. rather than proper sausages they served frankfurters. same cakes, same biscuits and same fruits! no teas and coffees in the rooms, which we mentioned in the day we checked out that for a four star hotel we expected teas and coffees in the room and we were told we had to ask for them! which was not explained when we checked in.
