Great stay for family with kids. We really enjoyed the private pool with enough shadow from the palm and banana trees. Kids also loved the little garden with the tiny fish pond. The beach is really close and super nice, clean water. Friendly staff and nice breakfast. Less touristy than other places we saw on our boat trip, the density of people was so pleasant here.

Bus from the airport takes 2.5-3hours.

The staff were absolutely amazing very professional and friendly and also accommodating. Super clean and very easy to get around.

The owner Tony was a great help with all our needs , cracking breakfast and very comfortable stay, if anyone comes here would definitely recommend the Italian restaurant downstairs, bellisimo!!!

The hosts were extremely welcoming and provided with several useful tips about what to do in Canyamel and the surrounding areas. They are happy to advise you in Spanish, English and German. The hotel is less than 2 minutes away from the beach and you can see the sea from the balconies. You can even cook small meals in the apartment. Not clear to us why it has 'only' 1 star. Highly recommended!

Canyamel as a town was just a little too small for me.

There was extremely annoying plastic cover over the bed, which was loud and didn't stay on one place. Also the pot and the pan were so small that we had to cook every dish twice.
