Contessina Hotel

Wir hatten einen wirklich wundervollen Aufenthalt im Contesina Hotel auf Zakynthos! Das gesamte Service und das Essen war großartig. Besonders die Nachspeisen waren mit Abstand die besten, die wir bisher in einem Urlaubshotel hatten. 🥰 Als Überraschung wurden wir bei unserer Ankunft sogar kostenlos auf eine Suite mit eigenem Pool upgegradet – eine unglaublich schöne Geste! Die Mitarbeiter sind besonders aufmerksam und super freundlich!! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! ❤️

Der Strand direkt beim Hotel ist zwar nicht der schönste der Insel, aber dafür kann das Hotel natürlich nichts. Mit dem Auto und per Boot haben wir wunderschöne Strände entdeckt.

The property itself is very nice and the rooms are spacious. Despite the size, it does not feel overly crowded. The pools are very nice. We got a better room category upon arrival.

The property ties to be more than it is. There’s so many things that aren’t quite right. You have an app that you have to use during your stay to order drinks from the pool, food at the restaurant etc. Very cumbersome, in particular as the app does not work well. The staff is bored / unfriendly (with the exception of the cleaning ladies, they are beyond friendly and accommodating!). Upon arrival you are told about the app, parking and that you need to reserve the night before if you plan on dining in one of their restaurants. The outline of the resort is not provided (we only discovered a third pool on the last day). You have two breakfast options, one is à la carte (also not mentioned up in check-in) and one is a buffet. The buffet is catastrophic - not because of the food choices, but it looks as if a bunch of rakooons had breakfast there by 9:30 already. Breakfast ends at 10:30, by 10am staff is taking away food already. Also: the village, it reminded me more of the ballermann in Mallorca (albeit with Brits rather than Germans)

The hotel is immaculate fabulous location and wonderful staff . The rooms are fabulous and the showers to die for!! I will be returning 100% the best hotel abroad I’ve ever stayed in !

Absolutely Nothing

The hotel is very modern and clean!

However it was very noisy in the bedrooms. The walls are really thin and you can hear everyone talking or walking past your room. The rooms also weren’t very spacious.
