Not a lot of people, very quiet and the view us nice.

Not even one bottle of water in the room even tho there are no shops near. There is a coffee maker but no coffee. The marsh socket hurted me when I tried to put my phone on charge. A lot of insects everywhere.

We loved the innkeeper Rose. She is a treasure and should be protected at all costs. Also, we liked the rescue cats, especially Clara.

The weather could have been warmer.

I have been on a few more expensive stays on kreta. but when i tried this i wanted to make it my home for the rest of my life!!!

Perfect accomodation. The pool is nicely refreshing and big. Stunning view. Rooms provide everything you need.

Located at a very steep hill. Very tiny bathroom compared to the rest of the room. Bed needs a new matras. No restaurants nearby

The location, high above the coastline near Ammoudara (Agios Nikolaos), commands excellent views across the bay, and the site has been carefully developed, with substantial, well finished villas, each with 4 apartments. A full-width private balcony gives added privacy, and the well kept swimming pool is delightful.

The elevated position involves a very steep access road - enough to to discourage a casual stroll to the local beaches and tavernas.

We spent 2 nights here and have mixed feelings. The complex itself is beautiful, colorful, green, clean, the room/apartment big & equipped with everything for cooking there, the garden spectacular, the view & exit to the pool a dream! It was very quiet and peaceful, I really cherish that. We actually spent the morning by the pool and enjoyed the sunrise in peace, this will definitely stay as a favorite memory. I'm not at all the morning person, the reason for catching the sunrise was actually...

... because I couldn't sleep at all in the night, the room was choke-full of mosquitos. We didn't expect this at all so of course we were unprepared, they tortured us all night. I would've expected some kind of spray/candles in the room, anything really, I'm sure the mosquitos were not completely new. We arrived at midnight and didn't open the doors more nor longer than completely necessary to get a bit out... When writing about this to the property, I didn't get any reply. ... the short road up to the complex is a killer (very steep!), and it's not an understatement. We had a small car, not very powerful, and we struggled to get up with it. ... we stayed 2 nights instead of the planned 3 because our flights got delayed a lot, so there was no way to arrive at the complex right after arriving in Chania. Since the free cancellation window is so far from the actual stay (I had to fully pay 2 months ahead, and there was no more cancel possibility), it wasn't possible to shorten the stay also money-wise, so we ended up double booking for the first night... as in booked another hotel in Chania, and left for Agios Nikolaos only the next day. I wrote the property, there was no window of understanding (even though a similar thing happened with the flight back, and this other property was willing to give up the one night). It's just something that could've been a plus. ... lastly, another thing that bothered me a bit, as a big animal lover, there are a lot of cats roaming around, they are very friendly and come to hang out and especially for pets. My heart broke a bit though when I saw them drinking water from the pool (which is probably sea water? so def not healthy for them), it would be nice, since they are anyway allowed there, to give them at least some fresh water on the side (they got water from me while we stayed there)... but I don't know, maybe this is one way to not encourage them to stay too much there.

Location was very nice, walking distance from the beach. The drive-way up to the apartment is very very steep so this is a bit scary to drive with a car. The staff is great, super friendly. Rose did laundry for us which was great. Beds are comfy, for couples just a bit unromantic to have the split in the middle between the two matresses.

The bins in the kitchen and the bathroom could be a bit more hygenic. You need to touch the lid with you hands to open them. I prefer the ones with a foot-pedal.

Beautiful location, the views were to die for. The staff were really pleasant The facilities, pool, room, outdoor space was perfect. Would highly recommend this for families and couples. Lovely and quiet beach just a 10 minute walk. And even lovelier one 20 minute walk….the walk itself was lovely as it’s all coastal. We used a taxi firm to get around and it was super easy - we communicated via text and the value you for Money was great - €10 /€12 into Agios Nikolaos which is a bargain! The room had a full kitchen which was great, especially with fussy 5 year old - we could put on a pizza for him or something simple quite easily!

Very little I could complain about.
