A pub plus really decent restaurant plus excellent wines
Room 20 has no natural air into it!

Great staff and service. Beautiful rooms, building and gardens. They surprised us with a bottle of fizz.
There was no fridge in the room (but it's just a detail)

Lovely garden to sit and enjoy drinks or afternoon tea. Decor in keeping with the the age and standard of the property.
It was impossible to sleep in the room allocated. Our room (32) was at the very top of the main building facing the road. It was like a sauna next to a racetrack, with a totally inadequate cooling fan. These rooms should not have been sold!!
