The hotel area is very green, feels like you are in the jungle. The hotel seems spacious, the room is clean, however very old.

We didn’t like the service at all. At the breakfast and dinner workers were asking if we are enjoying or not every other minute, and were disturbing us right in the middle of our meal. But when we needed their help and service (like water and tea) it was very hard to find and ask them. They tried to give us chargeable bottled water when we asked normal free one. The first, second day we asked to repair the curtain rolls in the bathroom, but in three days nobody came and repaired it.

The room was lovely, bed was really comfy and the bathroom was great. Nothing outstanding but it was nice. The location is amazing, the infinity pool is stunning and the views are fantastic.

The food is average and the atmosphere was poor! If you are staying for the experience of location then it is worth it but other than that it's an average hotel.

You can’t really leave the hotel easily. So it has a cruise shop vibe, where you wander the halls from this pool to that. Because of the seclusion, it didn’t warrant quite as long of a stay.

Отель реально необычный и он стоит того чтобы в нем побывать. Вид из окна потрясающий. Дикие обезьяны, (ворующие из номера продукты)-это особый шарм. Кричащие дикие слоны, различные птицы... это все незабываемо Завтраки очень хорошие, ужины не дорогие и разнообразные.

Отель реально перегружен. Нашим друзьям перепутали номера( дали номер без вида на озеро) , ошибку исправили только на следующий день. Разницу в цене не компенсировали. Отель нуждается в реновации. Все уже очень устаревшее.

This is an OG Sri Lankan hotel and has a reputation for being a great hotel. The property is massive and fantastic, with nature and wildlife all around, a rustic aesthetic, 2 swimming pools and excellent food. It is a fantastic place to unwind and relax in but can get a bit crowded especially if there is a wedding happening. The rock pool is a nice touch and the ambience here is very relaxing.

The hotel does look a little tired and could do with a little renovation to bring some life back to its walls and rooms. Watch out for monkeys stealing from your room if you forget and leave the balcony doors open!
