Barceló Fès Medina

The overall experience was very good ,but I need to mention that The quality and the diversity of the breakfast has decreased compared with what I'm used to seeing in barcelo fes medina in my previous stays Traditional Moroccan Baked Goods have disappeared And also "La venoiserie" Which was tremendously delicious has disappeared also

The location is excellent. It’s on a main road, within walking distance of a shopping mall and the newer part of the old town. The room was clean and comfortable.

At check-in, the reception staff upgraded our room, which we really appreciated. The porter was also friendly and helpful. However, arranging transportation to the airport at check-out was confusing. We asked the receptionist to book a taxi, but he said he couldn’t and told us to contact the woman in charge of customer service. Another staff member offered to arrange a ride, but it turned out to be his friend’s car, and the quoted fare was a little high. We negotiated the fare with the driver and managed to reach the airport on time at a reasonable price. Still, we expected a smoother and more professional service from a four-star hotel.

The beds were comfortable, the staff were helpful. The designated parking to each guest was good.

I found long hair in my room, on the bed and in the bathroom. I didn't want to make a big deal about it as we were only staying there for one night and I didn't have time to go back and forth with the housekeeping team about this. Not worth it.
