Boat 'Opoe Sientje'

An absolutely wonderful hotel! It has a lovely atmosphere and incredibly friendly, helpful staff. We stayed for just one night, and choosing a hotel on a boat turned out to be a fantastic idea! Our cabin was surprisingly spacious, warm, and comfortable, with a private shower and everything else we needed. The breakfast was excellent—generous and absolutely delicious! The dining area deserves a special mention: it’s full of vintage objects and has the authentic charm of an old fishing boat. It’s a wonderfully relaxed and welcoming space that even hosts concerts! A huge thank you to the whole team for such a lovely stay! If we ever find ourselves in Nijmegen again, we’ll definitely stay here!

I found the boat to be a very charming place with its own unique character. The location was perfect, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily return.

Nothing significant.

We loved the old fashioned pirate boat look. The room was down below, a bit cramped and below decks and was nicely decorated. Comfortable bed. Shower was OK. Breakfast was very nice. Staff very helpful and friendly. Unusual location close to and under a road bridge with a new age, music festival type of feel. Nice seeing all the other boats moored up. You have to be reasonably agile to negate the steps and geography of the boat.

We could not store our bicycles on board so locked them to an anchor and they were OK in the morning i.e. they did not get stolen! It took us a while to locate the boat when we arrived so may be better signage?

The room is nicely decorated and the atmosphere of the pub on the boat is cozy

We were surprised that the accommodation was part of a pub on a boat. There is hardly any privacy and the room is small and has almost no ventilation which made it super muggy on a hot day. We were unaware that at the time of our stay there was a festival on the dock with food trucks, a band and hundreds of people. We realize that a different day would make a difference but the cramped setup remains and the staff wasn’t particularly understanding when we decided not to spend the night in this hot and damp room and noisy surroundings. That would have helped. Sorry to say so. I am usually not the complaining type.
