La localisation près de l'océan, le calme, les ballades sur la plage, les repas délicieux. Très bien en famille!

We felt very welcomed at Casa de France. The couple working there was most helpful and very friendly.

Black sandy beach, lovely details in every corner, very nice people, quiet, eco lodge, perfect place!

Nice property off the road and a bit out of nowhere, but if you like quiet this is a great location then. No street dogs barking at night so you can have a very good sleep. Good breakfast and meals. Kind staff especially the French owner who gave us a lot of advices and helped to rent a car in a very short notice. He is building houses around for sale btw. Beautiful black sand beach with a fantastic view of São Vicente island across the sea.

Far off the road if you do not have a car. The place seems a bit lack of maintenance like other visitors have mentioned already and not yet been fixed. Broken lamps and weak lights in the room, plastic stickers on the wall half falling, windows and doors difficult to close... Short of staff too. Sometime the owners were in their house under construction nearby and there seemed no other staff to manage the property. There was no one to open and close the main gate when we arrived and left and no one at the reception for much time of a day. Wifi was on only when the owner was around and opened hotspot on his/her phone…Weak connection already in the dining area. Zero connection in the room.

The staff at Casa De France is awesome!! Everyone was so kind and always trying to help even with language barriers as we don't speak french or portuguese. Our kids had a lot of fun with the kids of the owners which made our stay just perfect! The room was huge and all the houses look so nice. The complex is just beautiful

Seems like the beach area doesnt get maintained anymore which is a bit sad as its such a great location right at the beach. I guess the wind took a bit over. Its still worth to visit the beach though

The location is very off the road and far away from anything. There is no Wifi, which we though was quite a pitty, because there is not a lot to do in this place. The hotel area is already a bit old and would need a refreshment. We didn't feel save because it wasn't possible to close the door and windows of the room from the inside! Also very rare food options fof vegetariana

The whole object was beautiful and peacfull, perfect place to relax with the sound of the ocean. Service was helpful and cheerful and surely the best thing was the food.

It would be nice to have a kettle in the room.
