POOL was lovely, the first room at the front was noisy - second visit we asked specially for a balcony overlooking the pool - the room was smaller but much quieter. Balcony lovely. Breakfast excellent, best we had on the stay big choice - staff delightful in every way.

The first room at the front was v noisy and one night till early morning (7.30am) and this is most nights from the Pirate Disco opposite - really get a room on the other side. Also we saw a cockroach in the room. However, we loved most things so we still went back and paid extra for the balcony pool room.

Poor outdated place

No elevator, long climb with luggage to 2nd FLOOR. No info in room abt hotel, surroundings. This hotel has seen better times. With all new buildings at hand, future looks grim

The staff were friendly and let us check-in late (past midnight) after our flight. The breakfast was nice though not suitable for those with a gluten allergy.

Breakfast could have been more inclusive

Clean, spacious rooms. Excellent pool area. Massive breakfast buffet. Rooftop jacuzzi and sun lounges. Friendly staff. On-site restaurant (good value). Good location for walking to town/beach. Place was immaculate, the staff were constantly cleaning. Decent price. Relaxed vibe.

Rooftop jacuzzi was green. Wifi didn't really reach the rooms (good coverage in pool area though). Door lock was broken.

Breakfast was good, was the same everyday. after a while it becomes a bit boring. There was plenty of food and people were attentive. Rom was basic but nice, clean and had a nice balcony. Pool is small but really nice, quiet hotel. basic but lovely. Location is excellent and staff were helpful. they served dinner menu, sometimes the same thing in a row, but was of good quality. Overall, it is good clean stay for short period. Can be boring after a while, as not too many other facilities, but it is right near the beach and centre, so there are plenty of places to eat. Recommend to others, but do not expect much. It is for those who want to go out of the hotel and explore the area and place, not to stay all the time in the hotel and binge on free drinks and food as package hotels offer.

Water is not provided and you have to but, whilst there is a water dispenser in the hotel, only allowed for breakfast.

And on my last night I got locked into the bathrooom .... and had to exit by the window ... ? In one week stay we changed room 4 times .... ? What can you do ? The breakfast had a variety of options. That is all I could think of.

The hotel does not look like the photos. The building and rooms are run down and poorly cared for. The room furnishings were mostly stained, dirty and poorly cared for. The shower was functional but looked horrible with broken flooring and walls. The sink tiles clearly fell off and was replaced with some quick plaster that did not fit for what was previously there. Maybe important to some people but the doors to the hotel rooms are windowed allowing all the artifical light in from the pool area or hallway. I had to put a towel over the door. Please note: there was not internet in the rooms. Only at the pool area. As our room door faced the pool, we had to sit in the hallway to get wifi. The pool is ok. There are lots of chairs but it is overcrowded with chairs and not relaxing at all. The atmosphere of this hotel was not nice. It looked like it was a moderately good hotel at some point but went complete neglected and down hill. The staff were nice but not welcoming. Just quiet and subdued. Only helped when asked although they always seemed a little confused. Really disappointing for our first nights in Capo Verde.

The breakfast was a nice selection of fresh food

First of all I liked location of hotel: many restaurants and shops are just in 3min walking distance, beautiful beach is just in 5min walking. I liked nice garden of banana trees inside hotel. Also small private terraces are very nice and make you feel cozy. Rooms are very clean.

Wifi connection is bad, not stable. At one of nights some very important person (as I was told) had a birthday party on the roof of hotel with very loud music for many hours. I asked staff for how long it'll go on, they said 21-22pm, but music ended at 23pm, party still went on. Staff said they can't do nothing about it. It was quite a disappointment for me, that staff let some "important" person to do whatever they want and don't care about guests, that's why I rate hotel 5/10, otherwise it could have been 10/10.

I definitely liked the location and the kindness of the staff. Also value for money is great. Few minutes from the main street and from the beach. I would come back.

For the negative side I would say not much to eat for Vegan lifestyle. This could definitely be improved.

Very nice staff, especially Arasi from the reception. She is very helpful. Quite a choice of breakfast food. Tasty. Clean swimming pool. Good location in Santa Maria. 5 minutes walk to the beach. Close to the restaurants and shops.

Everything, the location, the rooms are big and clean. The breakfast is good with nice fresh fruits and the staffs are friendly and responsive.
