Hotel Zar Merida

We have stayed here 2 yrs ago and before that as well.It has clean modern rooms, great air conditioning, easy short walking distance to Burger King, Trompos ,and a Japanese restaurant, a 9 minute walk to the INM office.Hotel Zar is on the city bus route and an easy 30 minute pleasant walk from Paseo 60 the ADO platinum station. We used Uber and ADO alot to get to plazas and historic Cento Merida. We slept well in this quiet hotel that serves a good breakfast for an extra cost. The manager was contacted re: an incident his response was quick and professional he handled the situation efficiently. Our stay at Hotel ZAR has always been pleasant and would recommend it to others signed a Canadian Couple .

It met all our expectations !

Spacious room and strong water pressure

There were bed bugs! There were dogs barking at random times as if someone left their pet indoors all day
