The accomadation above the restaurant/ bar is newly redecorated, fresh paint & carpet.we stayed two nights. Our room was bright/ fresh painted & a nice size terrace looking over the back of the hotel on the 1st floor. Very quiet with no bar/ restaurant noise except water pipe noise from the floor above us during the night Found that abit annoying. Had a meal in the restauarant the burger was excellent. Bakery across the road, super market pizza place very close, also the river & bar down the road. The hotel feels like its the centre of town & good atmosphere about it

The mattress was not comfortable both sides had colapsed A fridge would be great
