The property was comfortable and in a great location, close to plenty of places to eat, short walk to Namba station

The property is a bit tired and dated but we were comfortable enough

- location was fantastic for exploring the busy areas of Dontonbori and Shinsaibashi - check in with door code easy but be aware not available until the exact check in time (there is no running even slightly early) - beds comfortable and long and big enough for 6.2ft husband and similar height teen boys (family of 4 from Australia - older apartment but clean, tidy and comfortable - good water pressure in shower

The apartment is a good size for four people, and the bed was comfortable. It’s located in a great area with plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. The location is also very convenient and very close to the city center.

Unfortunately, there were several issues during our stay. We arrived two hours before the official check-in time and only went up briefly to leave our luggage before going out again. We were charged ¥3,000 for the two hours (¥1,500 per hour), plus tax on top of the ¥3,000. We felt this was unreasonable, especially since we only left our luggage and went out again without actually using the apartment. The apartment also did not have hot water when we arrived. We had to contact the host to find out how to turn on the water heater, and it took some time to receive a response. We also could not find the Wi-Fi name or password and had to contact them again and wait for a response. Overall, the apartment did not feel fully prepared for our arrival, which was particularly inconvenient after a long day of traveling. On our final day, we had an issue with our return flight and asked if we could extend our stay for one additional night. We were initially told that it was possible, but then we were told that we would have to move to another apartment. Instead of allowing us to remain in the apartment we had already stayed in for five days, we were offered another apartment at a very high additional price, with tax added on top. We did not accept and decided to stay at another hotel instead. We were disappointed with how the situation was handled. After staying for five days, we felt that when we needed an additional night, our situation was being taken advantage of rather than being treated with reasonable flexibility.
