Ravencar Farm B&B

What an absolute gem this place was! From the moment I arrived Helen greeted me and let me know everything I needed to know. Very friendly and welcoming and showed me to my room. My room was spotless and very cosy, with tea and coffee facilities and fresh milk in a jug. The en-suite wet room was very welcoming as I had been at a tournament all day so was nice to get straight into that and felt refreshed - plenty of shower gel and shampoo provided which was a nice touch. When I woke up the following morning and opened my curtains I was greeted with a very nice view of the farm and horses, was very peaceful and went and said hello to them. Breakfast - fantastic! I had some lovely granola with fruit and yoghurt along with some toast and jam. They also do a cooked breakfast but as I was playing in another tournament I didn't have this (shame as it looked lovely!) They also provide cooked sausage for dogs if you have brought those along - others had and they loved them. I would definitely stay here again and bring my dogs next time, such a shame I was only here for 1 night as it is a very lovely place. Thank you very much!

We had a fabulous stay with Helen who was a magnificent hostess. The welcome was lovely with a bright smile, tea and cake. Helen has vast local knowledge and was able to recommend good restaurants and pubs. Our breakfasts were really excellent with every need catered for. Rooms were clean, warm and comfortable. We would highly recommend Helen and Ravencar Farm.

Nothing

Lovely setting, room and host. Helen was always helpful and cooked some great breakfasts, including a sausage for the dog,. The on site horses were an added bonus.

Nothing.

Breakfast was amazing cereal, fruit, full English and toast which were different breads. The view from the window was the horses in the field and amazing sky. Almost forgot Helen who was amazing and could not do enough for you extra supplies, blanket. You had everything you needed in the room including shampoo, shower gel and tissues.

Absolutely nothing.
