The Secret Garden

Best hostel I have ever stayed at hands down! Great amenities. Bar/restaurant/cafe on site. Cheap, quick laundry services. Dorm rooms were very nice with plenty of bathrooms and shower pressure was amazing.

Views were amazing. Beds were extremely comfortable. Food was good.

Stairs.

Good sturdy bunks w Curtains and own light/power. Nice common areas, cafe and fabulous view from the terrace restaurant. Friendly helpful staff

Meal and drink prices extremely high even w 20% off.

Great location, beautiful roof, comfortable room, hot showers, and staff were helpful in organizing taxis etc. Everything was wonderful except two complaints (noise and price transparency), but those complaints did meaningfully impact our stay.

This may not be true for all rooms, but the music playing on the roof was loud and disruptive in our room all day until 11pm every night, and closing all windows didn’t help. This made it difficult to sleep in time for early excursions and rest during the day. Also, as of Sept 2026, our booking advertised 50% off food, which was not honored — we were told that the new policy is 30%. The hostel also charged a 5% fee to pay with card. The lack of price transparency and soundproofing leave much to be desired.
