We stayed in the Poppiano apartment, and it was hands down one of the absolute best vacation rental experiences we have ever had in Italy. The Apartment & Unmatched Views The Poppiano unit is beautifully modern, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with every amenity you could possibly need. The true showstopper, however, is the pair of massive windows overlooking the breathtaking valley below. Sitting by the window each morning to watch hot air balloons rise in the distance—and witnessing four incredible rainbows during our stay—was pure magic. The apartment balances modern comfort with authentic Tuscan charm effortlessly. Ideal Base Camp for Exploring Tuscany Montespertoli is the perfect, stress-free location for exploring the Chianti region and beyond. From Villa La Torre, we took easy, scenic day trips to Florence, San Gimignano, and nearby local treasures like Castello di Poppiano and Corzano e Paterno. For food lovers, it’s an unbeatable location—we had an incredible lunch at Hotel Villa Ducci and an exceptional local dinner at L'icchio right in Montespertoli. World-Class Hospitality The hosts live right next door and provide top-tier hospitality. Check-in was effortless, parking was convenient and secure, and their communication was super fast and helpful from start to finish. They know the region inside and out and are always available if you need local tips. Final Verdict Everything about our stay was tip-top. We loved it so much that we are already planning to return, and we are even looking into booking all the units at Villa La Torre to host our Tuscan couples retreats here in the future. If you are planning a trip to Chianti or the Florence countryside, book this place without hesitation!

Loved the pool, even if the online photos didn't match the reality. The grassed over area at the end of the pool doesn't exist as per the photos. Loved the location for the sunsets every day and getting up early and going up to the pool for sunrise was beautiful. The quality and provisions in the kitchen were really good. The location and information pack provided. Having a laundry area with a washing machine was a real life saver for a family holiday.

No air-conditioning. The temperature of every single room was unbearable. Far too hot and really uncomfortable. The owners really need to invest in AC. The smell in the bathrooms became really stale and pungent. Not sure what's wrong with the drainage. The incredibly scented cleaning fluid used in the kitchen. So overpowering and impossible to shift. Lots of bugs in the accomodation, particularly at evening and night. Moths, cockroaches, ants etc.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist wirklich sehr schön. Insbesondere die Terrasse und der pool war toll.

Da es eine sehr heiße Woche war haben wir im Nachhinein doch eine Klimaanlage sehr vermisst. Dies hatten wir bei der Buchung nicht beachtet. Leider war das Hundegebell in der Nachbarschaft früh morgens zwischen 5 und 8 Uhr sehr störend.
