MnM's BnB

Beautiful views of water! Nicely decorated and furnished second floor unit in owners home. Comfortable bed and nice shower. Friendly owners who welcomed us and also gave privacy. Even had Apple TV available!!

Driveway was steep and challenging to navigate. Also, had to navigate stairs with our luggage. Would have loved a platform for the balcony chairs or higher chairs so we could see the fantastic views while sitting!!

Lovely BnB, just up the hill from town, and wonderful hosts. You are upstairs in the hosts' own house in a spacious area with a comfortable bed, sitting area, balcony and really good shower. You can choose your breakfast and the hosts provide it and chat - I'm not a big breakfast eater but the fruit salad and homemade coconut yogurt was delicious! Lots of art on their walls to enjoy too. Handy location for both the town side of Napier Hill, and the eateries in Ahuriri on the other side. If you like hilly walks, stairs from the road take you up onto the hill to explore, and you can seek more out - there are quite a few!

I found the lack of a door up the stairs disconcerting but we could not hear a thing. An angled window without a curtain was the only other thing I would have changed, to minimize light in the morning.

A true home away from home MnM Airbnb was quite simply a home from home when I needed one most. From the moment I arrived, Mike and Maree made me feel like one of the family. They genuinely couldn’t do enough to help, and their warmth, kindness and hospitality made my stay so much more than just a place to sleep. I’m going to particularly miss my morning breakfast conversations with Mike ,they became a real highlight of my stay. And speaking of breakfast… Maree’s homemade muesli deserves a review all of its own! It is seriously addictive. In fact, it’s probably worth booking MnM again purely for the muesli! If you’re looking for somewhere comfortable, welcoming and filled with genuine Kiwi hospitality, look no further. I couldn’t recommend Mike and Maree’s place highly enough. Thank you both for making me feel so at home. I’ll definitely be back!

Really nice and comfortable. Great location. A home away from home.
