Very clear and well maintained facility. Well organized and friendly people. Location close to the beach and nature preservation is ideal.

The hotel is close to the beach, the center and the nature area Zwanenwater. Even though the hotel is located close to the road and it has a big parking lot nearby, the room was very quiet. The room was big and recently refurbished, the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was served in the room and it was plentiful (we could choose from various options).

Friendly Staff. Breakfast was splitted in three, free to choose, times slots to avoid crowds. Individual Breakfast was served at the table. Quite Gardenarea with sunbeds and a little lake. Good location. Surrounded by green, and very quite.Loved the sound of the sea, wind and birds. 5-7 Minute walk to Beach or Towncentre. Hotel was clean and seems to be renovated. Bright colours, new furnitures, new bathrooms. Coast themed Art all over the place.

But still feels old due to full carpet on the floor instead of clean laminate in the rooms and general a "simple" construction. Very noisy if neighbours used their TV in the evening. Suspended ceiling in the rooms looked like in a office place. A bit flair of a youth hostel stucked in the 90's. Room and Safe requires real keys instead of keykard or pin. Missed a Bar or Lounge to finish of the day or stay a day in the hotel during bad weather, but probably the usual Callantsoog Tourist doesn't need that.

Strandhotel de Horn is perfectly located between the village and the beach. They adjusted very well to the new corona measures, with high cleanliness standards, and with breakfast served at your table or in your room.

The rooms on the first floor do not have balconies. Having said that, there is a nice terrace and garden for all guests to enjoy.
