No soap in bathroom bath

From check-in to checkout, I cannot fault the place,. Friendly and efficient staff, clean, well priced and the most convenient location to Bree street you can get. Shout at to Jacques, Dumelang and Sofiso at the front desk for fast and friendly service and Janine behind the bar.

Our room was clean and very comfortable

Subject: Unfair Treatment Dear Cape Town Lodge Hotel, I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with my recent experience at your hotel. I arrived with my partner on Friday and checked out today, and I feel compelled to follow up until I receive proper justice. Upon our arrival, we were informed about the minibar in our room (Room 638). We were told that if we consumed any items, the hotel would deduct the cost from the R400 deposit meant to cover any minibar usage or damages to the room. When we entered our room, we checked the minibar and noticed the items inside. However, we decided not to consume anything, as we found the items quite expensive. The only thing we can be certain of is that there was one chocolate in the fridge. To our surprise, when we were checking out, we were told that R25 would be deducted from our deposit because we had eaten the chocolate. Both my partner and I were shocked, as we had not eaten anything. The receptionist insisted that we consumed the chocolate, which we firmly deny. We made it clear that we did not touch the chocolate, and the situation became even more frustrating when we were made to wait for an hour while the receptionist tried to convince us otherwise. After making some calls, the receptionist eventually returned our money. However, he expressed dissatisfaction with the situation and said he was not happy. I informed him that we were willing to wait for further investigation and requested that he contact me after resolving the matter. I feel that we were treated unfairly and wrongly accused by the receptionist. We demand justice and a thorough investigation into this matter. The room was clean, and the break fast was great

I did not like that the restaurant was independent from the hotel. Plus they asked for an excessive Security deposit per day which resulted in exchange losses for me :(
