The wildlife and location were the highlight of this stay. The pool and the views were also wonderful.

The beds were so hard! There was only one staff member working at the pool bar so it took a look time waiting for a drink

Sehr schöne Anlage zum Teil am Wasser, zum Teil im Urwald, sehr weitläufig, was jedoch mit den rund um die Uhr stehenden Elektroshuttle kein Problem war. Toller Strand, guter Service, große Auswahl in den 4 Restaurants. Exotische Tiere hautnah!

They have a kids club, however, the schedule activities seemed too limited to be able to enjoy the full service.

Wir waren über Weihnachten im Berjaya Resort. Anlage ist sehr schön, weitläufig und sauber. Etliche Tiere sind hier unterwegs und können beobachtet werden. Das Personal war zu jeder Zeit überaus freundlich. Wenn man an den richtigen „Manager“ gerät, werden Wünsche und Problem sofort und ganz hands-on gelöst (anderenfalls wird viel telefoniert). Das Frühstück in der Beach Brasserie ist sehr vielfältig mit tollem Blick (mit Glück laufen auch ein paar Otter vorbei). Das Essen im Thai Restaurant hat uns leider gar nicht überzeugt. Aufgrund der Lage ist man jedoch mehr oder weniger gezwungen im Resort zu essen. Wir hatten ein Rainforest Chalet was wir toll fanden. Die Mini-Bar wird täglich gefüllt und ist inklusive. Obst gibt’s es leider nur bei Check-In. Leider haben wir es bis zuletzt nicht geschafft, dass unsere Handtücher gewechselt werden - es gibt ein Schild, das man auf das Bett legen soll … dieses wurde täglich beiseite gelegt, ohne dass die Handtücher gewechselt wurden. Auf Nachfrage an der Rezeption wurde telefoniert … Am Strand gab es immer ausreichend freie Liegen und wir empfanden ihn als sauber.

The Night Nature Walk guide Mr Ikram is simply wonderful. Not only was he knowledgeable, he knew almost exactly where all the night creatures were. I truly enjoyed the night walk mainly because of his good guidance!

The resort is very old for the high price we paid. The room looked very dated. Way past time for a total renovation.

Beautiful location, fabulous Pool area, beachfront location, plenty of dining choices, lovely spacious rooms. Buffet breakfast has lots of choice. Free shuttle bus around the resort.

Excellent location, on beautiful secluded beach, great for swimming. The resort was quiet when I was there, so plenty of space and friendly, helpful staff always on hand. Very close to good attractions, cable car, waterfall & sky bridge and front desk helps to organise other visits. The wildlife on show is great too, and I would recommend the guided nature trail through the grounds. Prices are reasonable, Thai restaurant excellent, others nicely located, plenty of choice and fairly priced. Room had all I needed and a unique feel, set among the rainforest. All I was looking for in a 5 day break really.

During an electrical storm, I had a couple of power cuts, but help came out quickly in the middle of the night to fix.

Very nice resort where you feel like you are staying in the jungle. The chalets look a bit older when you see them from the outside, but they are very well maintained on the inside. Nice and cosy interior, clean. The bathroom in the cottage was modern and clean. If you sit on the balcony you sometimes can see tropical birds and monkeys, it was really cool. The main building with the lobby, bar and restaurant also look a bit older, but it's well maintained too. The restaurants are fine, some tasty options on the menu, especially the beef burger! Breakfast was good, a lot of choices. The hotel staff are very kind, friendly and helpful. There is a very relaxed atmosphere at the resort, i would definitely return to stay there again!

Room was great and the beach was perfect. Food was OK but a bit repetitive. Beach Brasserie was best for breakfast. The Thai restaurant was fantastic.

The Oriental buffet was a bit too busy and the BBQ in the eve was very smoky. They are clearly still in recovery from the Pandemic with lots of rooms being refurbished. Not noisily though.

Very secluded place wonderful for couple travelers. Location was just wow! Pool with waterfall was great

No restaurants after 8pm available, had to depend only on hotel dining which could be expensive!

Breakfast Spread was very good..... The hotel and beach was not very crowded The cottages by the Ocean (near the Thai restaurant) was quite spacious and renovated recently

The roof in the original units leaked and we were moved to upgraded rooms (as mentioned above close the the Thai restaurant).....The dinner buffet needs some improvement.

Fareez not tell the true about breakfast timing, I request umbrilla from room and they delay of providing umbrilla wich result breakfast close time. I ask for small snacks for such delay. Fareez request me to check if I call before breakfast time, he refuse me he told breakfast time close bfore I call, he tild I calll after 10 AM and breakfast close at 10 AM. He is layer and dont belive this person

We love the Private Beach - Great for relaxation and to immerse ourselves in the starry night. The breakfast spread at Dayang was Excellent. It has a good spread with different types of cuisines.

Despite Langkawi being one of the Geo friendly islands, still the presence of houseflies at the cafes can be a little unhygienic. Therefore, it would be better if you can place more fresh orange peels (the peels can be collected from the fresh orange juice served during breakfast) around the spread and diners' area. the smell from the orange peels are believed to be unattractive to flies. Second, there are many small red ants found on the fruit's basket served as a welcoming gesture. Perhaps, you may wrap the tray with a clean wrap. I guess being around nature, we can't help but to invite all the insects, however, guests stay will be more pleasant if we can reduce the 'invitation' and let the insects to stay at their natural habitat for hygiene purposes.
