Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We were allowed to have breakfast in the lounge as we had a dog with us who was not allowed in the dining area.
We had difficulty finding the property, and therefore were too late for reception, which closed at 8.00pm. The staff left instructions at the desk. But we were quite stressed by then. This was a pity but apart from that it was excellent

Location
Old fashioned, dated and worn decor and furniture, no longer fit for purpose e.g no mirror with dressing table. Musty smell I assume due to very dated carpets
