Старый город
Люкс - это все старое и разбитой.
Ванна грязная, вся мебель убитая
Прям под окнами железная дорога и спать нет возможности.
Поднять багаж на 3 этажи по узкой лестницы без лифта это проблема.

Very welcoming staff
The location little hard to find

Good location close to the center. Terrace on upper floor for breakfast.
We were placed to room we didn't booked in other building on ground floor. We were promised to move to better room the very next day but it finally happened on the last night (of 4) without any previous announcement. Then we needed to discuss the discount, I would expect it would be offered by hotel automatically. And it needed a long discussion with the personal, calling their managers.

the location is great, nice restaurants and important landmarks from walking distance, also small shops available for food supplies like water and soft drinks
i think restrooms need more deep cleaning so no dark spots are observed in the shower and ac needs to be available to use

good location, friendly staff
the room smell of cigarette smoke, everything in the hotel looks old, it is not very clean, the restaurant for breakfast is very small you don't have space to move

The location was good!! Very close to the Blue Mosque. The rooms, were clean and comfortable! And the main hotel contact was very kind to alter my reservation.
The breakfast was alright. And one of the waiters was rude, but others were nice.

The staff at the reception, The service and spread at the restaurant breakfast.
The overall feel of care.
Our housekeeping staff was lazy. Three days out of four, she did not replenish the coffee and tea bags and the last day left even the empties unattended. Also, she did not 'make our bed', other than fluffing up the pillows.
Was this a deal breaker? No, not really, but attention to detail is expected when you advertise yourself as a 4 star property.
The location was in one of the side streets of the Sultanahmet area. A big turnoff was the state of roads and the cleanliness outside the hotel. While this is not really the fault of the hotel but when you pay 115 euros for a room, you expect a smooth experience towards your holiday.
Another thing that can be fine tuned is the type of taxi for airport pickup and drop. They seemed to have a contract with a company which runs those big 6 seater vans. Their service was impeccable, but it was a bit overkill for us - a couple with two suitcases.
We could have saved 20 euros either way by booking a sedan instead of paying 55 euros one way for this van.

The staff were really friendly and the location is class, five min walk from the blue mosque and all shops near by.

The breakfast was the best part - set in such a beautiful room with such helpful staff especially Mehmut who saw to our every need. The bellboy staff was also so helpful and kind. The breakfast was truly outstanding. The location of the hotel is also good although a few hills for the older people in our group (they managed though). Very pretty hotel.
We slept in the 4 sleeper garden room and found it quite tight for four adults. Esp since we were there for 5 days. There wasn't much space and hardly any drawers or space to put things down. There were a few things troubled: a leaking tub (which they fixed but it still seemed to leak), TV remote wasn't working (which they fixed). The main problem we had was that the cleaning staff wasn't cleaning out room. She would empty the bin and that would be it. If we called her to explain the bathroom hadn't even be cleaned she couldn't understand. We also found a disgusting hairball on a new towel and we showed it to staff but they didn't say anything. I felt like the room was never cleaned properly - only when the young woman, Halima (I can't remember from where but she was from an African country) cleaned our room did we feel like the room had been cleaned properly. It really didn't make the trip feel good knowing our room was staying dirty all day.

Breakfast was excellent. Best I've had in Istanbul. Service is excellent, there is a large variety and daily small changes which adds interest. View is superb.
Shower leaked slightly in both bathrooms we had, may be a design fault . Our room wasnt cleaned daily.

it’s a clean hotel, location is great and the staff is wonderful
the bed sheeting arrangement is odd but I think it’s like this in Turkey…. double bed has single sheeting, no double bed sheets. this is only a minor thing. this hotel is great 👍🏼

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It doesn’t do what it should: provide guests with a comfortable stay at night.
We were given a room on a ground floor with big windows and a street view.
First thing: a/c wasn’t working properly. it was causing noise and an entrance fan unit wasn’t producing any airflow at all.
Secondly, windows were so big that curtains couldn’t cover them, leaving gaps through which we could be observed from the outside.
Next: it was extremely noisy. Hotel clearly states the room is soundproof, but that’s a lie. We heard every tire of every car, every conversation, etc. Stating the room was soundproof is cheating.
Next: room is very tiny. So tiny that we couldn’t open a wardrobe without moving furniture inside the room.
Next: dusty and dirty floors in main room and dirty shower cabin.
Next: there were no blanket inside the room. Only linings.
When we asked staff to provide us with another room, they told us they were fully booked and didn’t have any other free rooms, though ~30 minutes after that new guests arrived and received their cards.
Breakfast is so-so.

We spent a week in Istanbul on a business trip and we enjoyed the city's vibrant for a couple days. Almina Hotels staff was extremely friendly and they were going out of their way to help us in every aspect during our stay. We highly recommend the hotel if you want to discover Istanbul's history.
The sauna was not available.

The location is not ideal but good. While the hotel is located aside from the noisy streets, actually it's the beginning of ghetto, however if you make a few steps, you'll get to the lively district and the Sultan Ahmet park indeed. So yes, it's quiet there but that quietness is not as in a Swiss mountain village at all.
The room was smaller than shown on the pictures. The promised garden was actually a big humming electric power plant right in front of the window.
The cleanliness was not sufficient. A big dark smash of chewing gum was stuck to the floor and was never removed. Some hairs in the bathroom. Leakage in the bathroom, always wet.
