"Sea La Vie" Vistas (Einheit 2B im Buttonwood Reserve Oceanfront Condominium Resort) ist eine Einheit im Erdgeschoss, die einen umfassenden Blick auf zwei Ozeane bietet und nach Westen über die Karibik und nach Osten zum Atlantik zeigt Sonnenaufgang. Das Buttonwood Reserve hat Zugang zu zwei Stränden. Auf der atlantischen Seite befindet sich ein erstklassiger, 3 Meilen langer rosafarbener Sandstrand, makellos ohne ein einziges Haus. Der Zugang erfolgt über unsere private Zufahrt mit Golfwagen. Die Wohnanlage ist mit einem Golfwagen ausgestattet. Auf der karibischen Seite unseres Grundstücks, fast in Ihrem Vorgarten, befindet sich ein zweiter Strand. Dieser Strand ist klein und ziemlich felsig, also nicht so schön, aber das Wasser ist so ruhig wie ein See und dieses Ufer ist perfekt zum Schnorcheln, Kajakfahren, Paddeln und Angeln.
Unser Pool im Resort-Stil liegt nur wenige Schritte von Ihrer Wohnanlage entfernt. Dieser wunderschön angelegte Pool ist das ganze Jahr über beheizt und bietet ein angenehmes Schwimmvergnügen.
Das professionell eingerichtete Interieur dieser Ferienwohnung ist elegant eingerichtet, modern, warm und komfortabel. Das östliche Ende des großen Raumes verfügt über eine moderne, offene, luxuriöse Küche aus Edelstahl und schwarzem Granit. Die Küche, der Essbereich und das Wohnzimmer bieten einen herrlichen Blick auf das Meer in alle Richtungen. Das Wasser funkelt so weit das Auge reicht.
Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über einen großen gepolsterten Fensterplatz mit herrlichem Panoramablick auf die Karibik, ein perfekter Ort, um bei einem Buch oder Morgenkaffee zu entspannen oder den Sonnenuntergang über dem Meer zu beobachten. Der Meister ist mit einem Kingsize-Bett ausgestattet und verfügt über ein eigenes Vollbad. Der Meister hat eine private Tür, die zum Deck über der Karibik führt.
Das Gästezimmer verfügt auch über einen großen Fensterplatz mit einer spektakulären Aussicht auf den Atlantik. Das Schlafzimmer hat ein komplettes Bad (das auch vom Flur aus zugänglich ist). Es ist mit zwei Einzelbetten ausgestattet, die in ein Kingsize-Bett umgewandelt werden können.
Das Buttonwood Reserve wird mit Kajaks und einem Paddle Board für die Nutzung auf dem Meer oder in unserem Teich geliefert. Fahrräder stehen ebenfalls zur Verfügung, um die weniger als 1,6 km entfernte Unterkunft oder die Stadt zu erkunden. Unser Platzwart, Patrick, ist ein erfahrener Fischer und wird Sie für einen halben oder ganzen Tag mit seinem Boot zum Angeln bringen (gegen Gebühr). Grillen Sie Ihren Fang frisch auf unserem Infrarot-Außengrill.

We had a party of 16 and each family had their own unit which was plenty of space. The house (Building #2)was spotless and had everything we needed. It was so nice to have a washer and dryer with all the kids beach clothes. The beds were so comfortable and loved the decor throughout. The property manager was great and helpful. I understand that living on an island things don’t hold up as well with all the salty air. But the golf carts and barbecue area did need a little help. We hired Brenda and Patrick to help with dinners for a couple nights, they were a very sweet couple. The kept us full and happy. Do be prepared for food and prep to be very expensive.Unfortunately, the weather was not ideal when we were there the week before Christmas. But we did see sunshine a couple days. The locals are super helpful with car rentals, restaurants and things to do. We did a half day excursion with Sheldon at Exotic Excursions. The kids favorite part was feeding the stingrays and the pig island. In the evenings, when the tide was low, the kids really enjoyed, taking the kayaks out and searching for Sandollar, starfish and sea urchin in the tide pools out in front of the house.

We visited Buttonwood with our adult children, aged 20, 21, and 22. The condo was bigger than we expected. Lots of space to spread out. The pull out couch was surprisingly comfortable. Everything was there that we needed. Towels, beach chairs, grilling tools, blender, etc. We stayed in condo 2B which was bottom level. Beds and linens were super comfortable. We literally had no issues. The beautiful Carribbean was a 2 min walk. The Atlantic was 5 min golf cart ride away. We never saw another person while we were on the beach. Lots of activities to do while on the island. Mark, the maintenance guy for Buttonwood, is a huge help. We rented a boat for the day and enjoyed snorkeling, shelling and pig island! We also did some cliff diving at the blue hole on the north end, exploring all the caves on the island and enjoying the beach side local bars on the island. Right down the road from Buttonwood in James Cistern, they have a grocery store/liquor store that will have most everything you need (except for meat). We packed a cooler full of meat and brought meat to the island from the US. They have some other grocery stores on the island with meat but it's pricey. Also in James Cistern they have a roadside guy named Luke who makes great conch salad and he can point you in the direction of getting fresh fish from piers.
WiFi worked seamlessly at the property and we used the international plan for our phones while on the island and the service worked great-no issues.
All in all, we highly recommend Buttonwood for a couple or family with older children as well as the beautiful island of Eleuthera. It would also be a great spot for multiple couples/families if you wanted to try and rent other condos on the island.

The property was very nice. It was nice that each couple was able to have their own space when needed. The condos are furnished beautifully. The beds were so comfortable we did not want to get out of bed. The pool was always clean even after the storm and we all enjoyed swimming in it. They had kayaks and we used them several times. We also enjoyed CocoDeMama Beach, It was beautiful and only a 15 minute ride from the property. We would have liked to use the large patio but you had to purchase that separetly. My only suggestion is that you make that area available to everyone staying in the complex. We were very satisified with our stay. the property location was centrally located. The owners and managers were very professional. The noseeums attacked the entire time and nothing seemed to deter them. For that reason I don't know if I would ever go back to the island but our stay was fantastic!!!!

The property was in the perfect mid-island location providing easy access to Governor's Harbor and airport. Most restaurants and scores of very private beaches were within a reasonable drive although we never made the 1/2 hour drive north or south to the most secluded and reportedly most beautiful. I loved driving up to Buttonwood day or night and seeing our unit sitting high on a hill. The property and units showed excellent care, were clean, well stocked and even better than any written description could express. I never tired of just sitting on the deck watching the sun set into the sea. I heard there were spectacular sun rises also but will need to check those out next visit and there certainly will be one in the not too distant future.
There truly are infinite water-views without leaving the porch. I encourage the drive to Tally Ocean even if not open just to experience the ocean and views. It was exactly what we were looking for!
We were traveling for the first time with our 10 month old and it was perfect for our needs. The pool was heated and our son loved it - we were also able to enjoy while he napped with a monitor close beside. The place had all of the amenities we needed (including laundry which was very helpful with an infant)! It was quiet and very private. There was a grocery store very near, however we did spend quite a bit of time in the car in order to go out for meals since most restaurants were a bit of a drive and to explore additional beaches. Great place, great week, unbelievably beautiful island!

My family organized a trip to Eleuthera as a surprise 70th birthday present for both of my parents. With 42 people in the total party (my parents, 15 kids plus spouses, 27 grandkids), we rented the entire property. The units and the grounds were excellent (high quality and well maintained); the staff (Sonya, Patrick, Brenda, etc.) were prompt, super friendly, professional; the pool was perfect. The location of the property convenient: 15 minutes from the Governors Harbor airport, 45 minutes from North Eleuthera Airport; Caribbean bay for paddle boarding and kayaking 500 feet away; Atlantic beach 6-8 minute golf cart ride away; a perfect Carribean beach (Cocodimama beach)a 10 minute drive away.
We had an outstanding week, loved every minute of it. We had a couple of days with lazy beach time and pool time and we had a few days where we took excursions (boating trips, snorkeling, Oceans Hole, Spanish Wells, etc.). Very entertaining, particularly for a larger group. The only note of caution I would pass along is that the island is much less developed than may other Caribbean vacation spots (think resorts), which was great for us and what we were looking for. But you don't have the abundance of man made entertainment options that you would have at other places, so it depends on your preferences.
But for a more laid back, authentic Caribbean experience I would highly recommend Eleuthera and there is no oother place I would stay than at Buttonwood Reserve.

The condo was immaculate. There were 4 of us (2 couples) staying in the condo and we had plenty of room. We cooked in a lot but did venture out to have dinner at Leo Rose and the Rainbow Inn which were both very close. Both places were excellent. Most days we made sandwiches to take to the beach but did have lunch at nearby Pascals one day and we were all very happy with the food. The condo is fairly new and had pretty much everything I needed for cooking. If I could recommend a couple of things that would have made cooking a little easier, it would be a cutting board and maybe better set of cutting knives. Other than that, the kitchen was well equipped with every thing I needed. The bedrooms and bathrooms were plenty big. There are air conditioning units as well as ceiling fans throughout the condo so we were all very comfortable. I read a review where someone recommended hooks in the bedrooms and bathrooms to hang wet towels, etc. and I agree. Hooks would be very useful. Overall, we were all very happy and satisfied with the property. We found the location to be perfect for everything we wanted to do. Access to the beach from the property was very easy. I would definitely recommend this property to all of my friends.

My wife and I just spent 4 days at Buttonwood Reserve. We were impressed with the personal service we recieved by the owners. The condo was very clean, and had the amenities to make our stay perfect and relaxed. We lacked nothing. The beach was beautiful and we would definately recommend this property to friends and relatives.

Eleuthera 2017
We thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Eleuthera and our stay at Buttonwood. The condo had all the amenities we could ask for and was very well maintained. The location was great and allowed us to explore the entire island without being too far from home. Eleuthera is a beautiful island. We loved it and will definitely be back!!!

Relaxing !
Perfect for us - close to everything - the units are fully equipped, with everything you need. Great for us because we like to cook our meals. My wife and I are trying to live a very healthy life style so have in house cooking is very important. I have to say that in all my travels I have never met a more helpful host them Matthew Simon !!

Beautiful property and grounds!
We had a great week at Buttonwood Reserve. We were 2 couples, lots of space for everyone. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The interior was new, spacious, and bright and had an awesome view of the ocean. Definitely would stay there again!

Vacation 2016
The property and accommodation was perfect for our family - my wife and I took our son and his fiancé as their engagement present and it was perfect. We toured the beautiful island, went snorkelling and generally just relaxed. The condo unit was good for us because of the two bedrooms and cooking facilities. The only negative was the units could use some additional comforts such as a kettle, more towels, face cloths, and towel roods or hooks. Bring " OFF " if you are out at dusk or dawn NoSeeUms !!! nasty little critters !!

INCREDIBLE1
Just stunning! This was our first trip to Eleuthera and we fell in love with this quaint island. It has true unspoiled beauty and is the perfect hidden gem! Buttonwood more than exceeded our expectations!
The condo was gorgeous, comfortable, and well appointed. Tia stocked our pantry items as requested and that was such a nice touch. We were two adults and two kids ages 11 and 5. They loved the pool, but every beach we went to was perfect!
The condo and garage were well stocked with kitchen equipment and beach gear. The golf cart was fun to take to see the amazing sunsets down by the Atlantic side beach.
Buttonwood is the perfect mid-island place to stay. We traveled north to Harbor Island one day and into Governor's Harbor to French Leave beach another day and the drive time was brief.
We rented our car from Sheree with Big Daddy's rental- she met us at the airport and the vehicle and service was superb. I highly recommend Buttonwood or any of the properties offered by this management group for your stay on Eleuthera. They go above and beyond so you will not be disappointed!
I can't wait to go back- I am already in the process for booking something next summer! :)

RELAXING!!
It was amazing!!! We wish we could have stayed longer. The golf cart was great! The condo was super clean, beds were SO comfortable and the interior design was amazing! Everyone was so sweet, kind and helpful. One of the BEST vacations I have been on. Perfect way to detach from the real world and take a break from work (I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner and rarely have time to detach!) Definitely will come back and recommend this place to friends and family. Wish I had the money to buy a condo!! Appreciate the prompt responses and communication prior to coming, the list of things to do and see was great. Thank you SO much for the awesome experience!! Transitioning into the real world has not been fun :( !!

From the wonderful people associated to the property to the wonderful house and Island! No matter what your request the on site staff were there to assist you and help. I have never had such detail of information prior to a trip as I did from Matthew and his team and I have travelled the world! The location of the property has the best view of both the sea and the ocean and the property is well maintained and clean..Thanks to all for making this a wonderful Thanksgiving break!
