VS Gandía Palace Hotel ****

This is a very nice hotel that is perfect for a relaxing vacation if you are looking for peace and quiet. The location is ideal, with the beach just a short walk away. I found the food to be quite tasty, and the staff deserves a special mention, they are incredibly attentive. Whenever I noticed something needed cleaning, they handled it immediately. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway. The Bad:

The only thing to keep in mind is the dining arrangement. Because the hotel uses a buffet system and many guests stay here, the restaurant can get quite crowded. You may need to be a bit strategic with your meal times to avoid the rush.

The property itself is not amazing but acceptable. For the price it’s okay. The staff however is GREAT! Lovely and helpful people!

The walls are thin, the noise levels near the pool are a lot and the carpet needs to be replaced. It has seen years of wear.

The property seems to be quite old. The air conditioning was not appropriate as it was hot day and still the air conditioning was blowing hot air. Despite requests it was not switched to cold. The alternative recommended was open the windows and switch off the air-conditioning to have cooler air. When you open the windows you hear all sorts of noise coming from outside, in night was worse as youngsters were talking and it was echoing a lot. You cannot close the window as it gets hot and opening won't let you sleep, this was super annoying staff didn't do anything. Pathetic experience.
