A beautiful location, lovely rooms and a wonderful hotel. Tastefully decorated throughout, with friendly staff.

Everything was excellent, but the coffee came from a vending machine. In a hotel this good, I would expect freshly made coffee from an espresso machine.

Nice spa facilities and comfortable bed to relax .

Beautiful 5 star property and worth the expense

Having to pay for things like porridge at breakfast, which feels like money grabbing and is unworthy of a hotel at this level. More tea bags in the room, bigger mugs and fresh milk. A welcome drink and snack on arrival would enhance the experience

Nice location and facilties - could be so nice and our first night and day was excellent but then went downhill rapidly,

We thought this would be as "advertised" and a peaceful end to our extended holiday . It started well and excellent food but then a wedding party arrived and the attention shifted to the wedding and we were very much second class guests with very poor food and service . Terrible food the worst on out trip on second night and shouting and screaming until gone midnight. - sadly before this review I raised our issues in writing with the General manger who hasn't bothered to respond . if you are booking make sure to check there isnt an event
