Hostel Snoozemore

Great location. Clean room. Nice kitchen space. And bathrooms have everything a traveler may need (dryers, showers, heaters etc.)

The bathrooms were very dirty. Travelers don't respect the public space (for example the whole basin was covered in hair after some man shaved). It was disgusting. And the staff cleaning is probably only once a day or once every second day because no one took care of it.

An easy self check in. A short walk to a public transportation. Also a short walk to a large shopping center. A clean facility and well maintained. Restaurants, cafes, bars are all within a walking distance. Many pros.

Not exactly in the city center. However, it is easy and quick to get to the city center. The common kitchen’s fridge was rather full.

Clean, sincere owner, cloth towels instead of paper towels.

I fully expected to see some mention of the self-service nature of this hostel, in other reviews. Alas, to my surprise no one thought the processes were at all unusual. It makes sense to automate as many processes, like luggage storage and issuing key cards, as possible, to save on payroll, but if too many processes are automated, the customer gets suspicious and can feel cheated, especially if no mention is made in the hotel description. Perhaps, Swedish hotels have adopted self-service and self-reliance to a greater degree than American hotels, so hotel owners don't feel any pressure to give guests advanced warning before arrival.

Good location. Great eateries close by Good transport links into town
