I'm not one to post poor ratings especially when the staff generally do their best to make guests comfortable but the hotel could do better. It's in a beautiful location and is a big and spacious classical building. As such I wouldn't expect it to be in perfect modern order internally. However, the shower was initially inoperable and the hotel were apparently already aware of the problem, reporting back that the room was due for renovation. But no one wants maintenance people coming into the room first thing in the morning. We did eventually get water to come from the shower head but by the second shower the water was only lukewarm
The initial welcome on check in wasn't exactly warm but Attila who manned the late night bar was exceptional, warm and friendly.
My belief was we'd paid for a room including breakfast and technically that was correct If you want a full cooked breakfast or porridge. But venture onto Eggs Benedict, French toast or scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and it's £4 or £6 per person extra (see photo of menu added). The smoked salmon option was rather academic since they didn't have any, but if you look at the menu there is a scrambled eggs option with the included full breakfast so for a couple you're being asked to pay £12 extra for a small amount of smoked salmon added to the eggs and the hotel is saving on all the other items included with the full breakfast. I think if breakfast is stated to be included it should be included, full stop, unless you're asking for caviar and champagne to go with it!

Its a lovely Manor House in lovely grounds great if you want to check it out for wedding ideas. Staff were lovely, food was lovely, room was nice and oldie worldie and warm.
Couldn't get my comfy on either of the pillows but sometimes I think its a me problem. If you can't do stairs maybe its not for you to stay overnight but the carvery (served) if you fancied a meal there

We had one night here with friends to celebrate my 60th birthday. The manor is gorgeous and the grounds too. The downstairs areas are really beautiful.
The restaurant and bar staff were brilliant and responded to all our requests to make sure we were happy and comfortable.
The restaurant food was lovely - albeit not quite hot enough. There was a good choice of options available.
Our room was lovely - clean and well looked after and presented. Bed comfortable... all in all really nice with beautiful views over the back garden at squirrels, ducks and a pond.
The lady on reception was not particularly warm and welcoming at all. She sent us up to our rooms via a back staircase... we later discovered, ourselves, it was much nicer and easier to access our rooms via the lovely main staircase!
Evening Meal: The main dining room was cold. No heating on or a fire lit... we had to ask for a portable heater!
Breakfast: No fresh fruit offered for the breakfast table - NEVER known this before. There was not enough croissants for us all either.
The previous night we had stayed at Peckforton Castle. All there was PERFECT in every way. This is part of the same hotel group as Inglewood Manor.
The main thing: Our friends room - a completely different story... which really spoilt their stay... and they didn't want to complain and cause a fuss as it was my birthday. If I'd have seen their room sooner... I would have complained for them! Our two rooms were starkly different!
Their carpet was heavily stained therefore feeling dirty. Black mould around a ridiculously small bath that you couldn't relax back in (seriously) and a bath front that was peeling and grubby as water had got behind it and caused it to split and flake.
The was a gap big enough around the window to let in cold air - it was noticeable.
The whole room fely unkempt and sub standard.
The hotel was far from full... so I'm positive a much nicer could have been allocated.
So, this took the shine off the whole experience.
