Everything! We had a lovely stay

Booked our trip to Kefolonia just a few days before we flew , all a bit last minute. Never been before so did not know what to expect. We arrived late evening to a warm welcome- time for an ice cold Mythos before retiring to bed. Our room overlooked the lovely garden and pool area Room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, including a large fridge and the all important Aircon included. We opted for the continental style breakfast - always well stocked with a good choice and coffee on tap. This Set us up nicely every morning. The hotel pool and surrounding patio is fantastic and again spotlessly clean and maintained- very inviting. We don't normally do lazy days around the pool, but made an exception and loved it. the poolside bar has a choice of Ice cold beer and good value freshly prepared hot bar snacks-everything you need for a relaxing chill. Peratata is around 10 mins drive from the beach's, buses do run but we hired a Scooter for 4 days- found it perfect way to get about- next to no traffic. On the recommendation of Illias we visited some wonderful beaches , the colour of the sea has to be seen to be believed. We had a wonderful 7 days break, thanks in main to wonderful staff and service provided throughout. Illias and Perri are wonderfully warm and fantastic hosts that know how to make their guests feel genuinely welcomed and at ease. They work tirelessly in ensuring the hotel has a fantastic feel about it. in Summary. A wonderful 7 days spent exploring a beautiful Island, and a great hotel experience at the Ionis. Would recommend without hesitation, and will return.

When we visited it got very hot . Thank goodness for the Aircon in the apartments, and the regular change of linen and towels - a life saver

Very friendly staff, lovely hotel.

Honestly we only stayed one night, got in late and left early so wasn't really anything we didnt like.

Did not seem to have constant running hot water . Toilet seat not very stable

The hotel is at the base of Mt. Ainos and a short but hilly walk to the castle, and some of the best restaurants and views on Kefalonia. Also very close to a market. The facilities include a large, immaculate swimming pool surrounded by chaises, an outdoor bar for snacks and drinks, and tables under shade trees. Friendly cats and kittens add to the charm. The breakfast is excellent and the hard work and hospitality of the hosts made this even more exceptional. Free parking on site
