Great llttle guesthouse, right at a beautiful part of the beach. Staff was very friendly. Fun cafe that is part of the hotel has great food.

The seaside location, right at the marine park, is perfect for snorkelling. The hotel has a little jetty from which you can easily get into the water and start snorkelling directly. Furthermore the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

It was a bit noisy in the night, but that didn’t last long. Be aware that Blue Bay is very close to the airport so a bit of noise from airplanes is inevitable.

The design, ambience, location and staff were all wonderful. So glad I was able to stay here for the last 3 days of my trip. Staff kindly were able to upgrade me to a sea view for one night which made it even more magical.

Everything met and exceeded my expectations.

Beautiful snorkeling and close to the main beach for swimming, with restaurant on site. Very friendly staff and reception.

Our room was across the road so no sea view directly in the airplanes route so you hear and see them, at least there weren’t many flights during the night.

Very quiet and relaxing place ...enjoyed the traditional house and the location right on the beach Love the simplicity of the hotel . Love Blue Bay as we always stay in that area . This is how I love Mauritius.

The aircon in the room was old and noisy . No TV in the room .

Breakfast could have been better

the bathroom was very nice and spacious. the fridge and cutlery was very convenient.

the cockroaches and mosquitoes. the staff cleans everyday which is great. but I think they leave the door open too long, which lets all the mosquitoes in.

Beachfront

Location was good, diretly on the beach.

Airport very close, much noise from airplanes. Meals not worth the price. Almost none equipment in the kitchen.

Wifi was a little up and fown but perfect for holiday needs place does need a bit of maintenance and touch ups here and there but again nothing thst is an issue.or affects quality of stay. Unimportant issues like non matching cups and saucers at breakfast. One does not not worry about these things when on holiday

the breakfast was disappointing, very basic, no yogurt or plant based milk & very little option or availability of fruit.

Great location, love the vibe of the place as well, very quiet also.

The matress on the bed was awful, needs to be changed.

It was very dark in the room and lights were needed at all time , there was a kitchen but it was not equipped to be used, a lot of the staff were unfriendly, cleaning was done daily but it seemed to consist of changing towels washing up and air freshener. We had a lot of mice so a lot of mice droppings and urine on the floor, at one point a cat which was bleeding came into the flat and wouldn’t leave and it took the staff a long time to help us, following mice and cat air freshener in our view was not sufficient. Breakfast was ok but the staff were very reluctant to replenish anything that ran out and very slow to clean tables and bring new plates for people waiting.

Very tired looking.not allowed to park inside property.pictures on internet need to be updated as establishment needs upgrading.was put into an upstairs room in main building instead of room I booked.wont return and don't recommend

Best location in blue bay (especially for Snorkeling)

Location fabulous. Rooms basic, fixtures and fittings, curtains, painted surfaces a bit tired but fine for the room rate. And would absolutely book again.

Staff fine on arrival check in but did notice otherwise you could pass them by with no friendly host to guest eye contact. For example when we checked out and departed the receptionist didn't even look up to say any departure pleasantries. Small things but noticeable. Makes them seem they're not interested once you're in and out money wise. So just a bit more customer care - goes a long way.
