we actually stayed on their next lodges - Haceinda Tres Lagos, and it was perfect

It’s located right by the river, the lodges are extremely comfortable and homey. We got there very late and they were waiting for us with a warm meal and the guide to help us plan the next day. My boyfriend got super sick and everyone was super helpful and accommodating with him. Lily, the admin of the lodge was really warm and nice, she went out of the way to make us feel at home. Cannot recommend the place enough.

Loved the view from our room, breakfast with locally made cheese, jam etc, very kind staff, great shower, nice grounds, the large woodpecker

Needs chairs on the deck, the box springs should have a bed skirt covering them

The heating was insufficient. It was cold overnight although it was summer. They said they have heating but they do not turn it on until 10pm and it takes hours for the room to warm up. Staff was very friendly.
